Isn't that why they are bringing out a new tank with airflow control?

It must be blocking the air holes up in the threads jess. Do you have a different head to try? Once the head is out check the air holes are there on the base.

I don't normally have a problem, @zero, that's what's puzzling me. Cheers, Roscopecotrain, I've decided I will change heads, as this sucking is giving me mouth ache. Will check it all & try again.

Sometimes the pin in the bottom of the head can compress the rubber tube that holds the wires in place, this causes major airflow issues, try pulling the pin out of the head slightly and see if that makes a difference.

Hi Jess, had the same issue with a head last week. Put it in my protank 2 and had no draw. Put the head in my other three protanks and still the same, no draw. Tried altering the pin and not screwing the tank on as tight still no joy. Tried it on an evod and no draw with that either so just put it down to the new head being faulty, as another new one worked in all tanks. Hope this helps.

Thanks, jordan, sadly not. Tried & turns out just as striker42 suffered. So I put the new head on, waited a while, took a draw & perfect, easy & clouds of vapour but argh....that one tasted awful. So, I cracked open a brand new ProTank with the coil that was in it & unbelievably, that also had the same very tight draw. Now just changed the coil on that to the spare that came with it, very slightly better, but not a lot. So that's two coils from a pack of 5 & two from a brand new ProTank set. So used to changing the heads, taking a draw & thinking aaaah bliss, but not tonight. I so wish I was capable of doing some recoiling, but sadly not. Anyway, thanks all for your replies.

It could be that the glass is too tightly screwed to the base half a turn looser might help. I've noticed myself having a few problems with the last batch of protank coils reading non on my itaste after refilling and having to play around seems the quality has gone down

It seems Kanger quality control has gone down in the last month or so. I sent it back and they said the air holes in the base were drilled in the wrong place (they were inside the threads not just above as they should be) they sent me a replacement and when that arrived the glass tank was glued in wonky! Sent that one back too and got a Protank Mini v2 instead. I've not had any problems with this one so far. Also Grimmgreen mentions it here;

My opinion is concentrate of the rubber grommet for connection pin. If it sits proud of the battery contact it can give issues with sealing off the draw. Get a sharp knife, no not a well used kitchen knife but razor sharp, and shave bits of rubber off flush with the contact. Work your way around the grommet until you get the airflow you need. Two slices gives a firm draw, 4 give an airy draw I find. I like mine quite airy so just trim it all the way round. Be careful not to disturb the coil wires.
