Chrissie, would that be a Norwegian Forest cat in your avatar? She/he's beautiful! My avatar is of Kiki, one of my 7 Maine Coons They do indeed look similar to Norwegian Forests Oh my! Seven Coons! Where do you put them all? Is there a thread anywhere for cat-lovers?

Hi Dinamic. I've looked at those pretty blue bottles and wondered - now I shall wonder no more and get some ordered, specially as their liquid seems to be 50/50 or at least 60/40 and I'm trying to keep the PG down. Their Sweet Sampilla looks interesting too. And I need a Blueberry to try as well. I know the taste of things is really subjective but it does help a lot to hear that someone likes something, so thank you. The Davides look pretty nice too, don't they?

Jordan, I don't HAVE any shiny mods! I saw your thread about the meet but my Saturday nights are all spoken for. Which is a pity. I hope you have a successful meet and enjoy yourselves thoroughly infecting each other with shinyitis!

Jordan, I'm in North Leeds now, but originally from Haworth. A distant relative has traced my father's family back to the mid-1600s up in Wensleydale. It's good to have roots!
Tell you what, though - it seems there isn't a vaping shop anywhere locally, which is odd as Leeds is a reasonably big place. Don't get me wrong, the online retailers are great, but I think Jason should open a branch in Otley...

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I'd been a bit concerned about switching to VG as the Internet is full of tales of woe about clogged-up kit, and while I'm not totally poverty-stricken I do have to be a bit careful. And I'm a Yorkshirewoman and don't like waste Ahem! In the next few days I'll order the Davide Mini and see how we get on. If nothing else it will be washable and new heads are reasonable, so any liquid mistakes won't be terminal. The clearo which came with the Riva kit is perfect but unusable as I can't get rid of the cherry ice flavour.

I've tried Griz's Black Cat and the liquorice in it is lovely, but the tobacco is too harsh for me. I need a no tobacco version! I used to smoke B&H, have never had a cough or a problem (apart from the pong and the expense and the fact that cigarettes are Bad For You).
Nice to know the little Nanos were a good buy. I like that they come in different colours, so the blue one has lemon in it and the purple RY4 and so on. I swap about a lot. There's such a lot of stuff out there it is easy to get it wrong - unless one comes here and takes note of all the brilliant advice from you lovely people. This forum is so unusual. No nastiness, no bad language, no point-scoring. It restores one's faith in human nature.

Currently half way down a very large glass of fizzy water...
I have been tempted by the Davide Mini. Will it work OK with my Riva batteries? It appears that a glass tank would be a good thing, though I have to say that the Vision Nanos have coped with peach, citrus and Black Jack liquids without cracking.
Perpetua, I have a shockingly sweet tooth and love creamy smooth flavours. Am on the hunt for a smooth sweet liquorice, if anyone knows where to get one!

Thank you all! I have tried a couple of the DV liquids at 50/50 and 11mg. The Sherbet Lemon is quite nice but I really didn't like the Cherry Ice - too medicinal for me. The thing I'm most concerned about is the muscle problem. If I can't find a way round it I'll have to stop vaping, which obviously I don't want as it has worked for me. I will try to drink more water, which is not easy for someone my age as we weren't brought up with a water bottle always to hand. Luckily I'm retired and only vape at home so the loo is handy. Oh, the joys of childbirth, menopause, radiotherapy and a slightly wonky pelvic floor!

Have lurked here for ages and you all seem so friendly that I have finally plucked up the courage to join. I'm not as young as I used to be and had been smoking for over 40 years, but since taking up vaping have not had a cigarette for six weeks!
I took advice from here and bought the Riva kit from VapeEscape. Rapidly discovered that cartomizers aren't for me, and am currently using the Vision Nano clearos, which are fine. The thing is, I've tried various liquids and am struggling a bit. Predictably, I've found that I don't like tobacco flavours, apart from RY4, which I'm alternating with Griz's Arctic Lemon. But the main issue is that I seem to be sensitive to PG, as some flavours really dehydrate and make my throat tickle - and the muscles in my legs are complaining! I've just ordered some 50/50 at a lower nic level, but if I have to go to a really VG-heavy mix what would be the best clearo to cope without clogging too quickly? I prefer bottom coils, and don't want to get into building my own heads. And should I consider mixing my own liquids?
