I think Ash is wonderful! I recently ordered a mini Protank 2 and some spare heads and had a senior moment - put the wrong house number in my address! The package was returned to Ash, who rang me to find out what had gone wrong. I explained and apologised profusely, and he corrected the address and re-sent the package, which arrived safely a couple of days later. So here's a big public thank you for going the extra mile to correct something which was entirely my fault

Hi everybody! I have been vaping for 5 days. I have been using full PG liquid which is only what I can assume has caused the following reactions: Slight rash on my chest Aching muscles Irritation/tingling on my lips tounge and throat My first mouth ulcer ever on my lower gum next to my right cheek Some headaches Dry mouth tightness in throat (probably as I am freaking out with all the reactions) lol Awsome Now from what I read I can see I need to drink more water. Has anyone else had the same experience and what did they do? I have used mentol/blueberry/vanilla and strawberry flavours. I experimented today and the symptoms came on stronger immediatly after use. What to do.. I dont want to smoke! Thanks in advance! x Hello Serena! I had similar problems when I started vaping a couple of months ago - the muscles aching, itchy throat, dry mouth stuff. Now vastly improved since switching to 50/50 or 60/40 VG/PG, and drinking more water. If you do that I'm sure you'll feel better, so all is not lost. I don't think the flavours make much difference - though anything with chili in might not be a good idea - but you might also find that something creamy will help. Joose Juice's coconut and strawberries and cream are very pleasant and you can choose the VG/PG ratio as dinamic22 said. Good luck - hope you feel better soon.

It came yesterday and looks the biz, though if that's the mini how much does the bigger one hold? I'm going to wash it carefully and save it for a few more days until the juice it will be christened with has steeped. Can hardly wait!

Who has the best deals on Davides at the moment? For the minis I came up with: £13.99 at UKEcigstore and at Vapetime £12 at Safercigs £10.49 at Eciglondon £8.64 (!) at Vapeon £10.99 at Charlie's Vape Shop. Almost went for the UKEcigstore ones because they have all the colours and the pink looks really pretty Hope this helps, OneDay.

missrenata just checked my Davide Mega and Small and both look are the kanger longer centre posts. Thank you. I'm confused between the Kanger Protank coils and the Kanger Evod ones. Will either be OK? I'm not sure which has the longer centre post.

Imo the Mega and Mini Davide beat the Protanks, looks wise and vape wise. I may well try a Mega next time I'm buying something. Where's mine, lost in the post again I suppose. Pleased for you and missrenata... nice to get something back! I knew I was due, and knew how much. Just waiting on the letter coming through. But then I did only start working back in the UK in December, so knew I had overpaid quite a bit of tax, as well as National Insurance. Although I aint sure if I get that back? Mine came completely out of the blue, and despite all the notes and explanations I'm still not sure why. I think it's because they forgot to up the personal allowance when I turned 65. It isn't as though my tax affairs are complicated. They got it wrong when I retired, too, only that time they said I hadn't paid enough and clawed it back, though they should have had all the information they needed to get it right - I was a civil servant! Ah well- not going to ring on their 0845 number to check it out. Will stick cheque in the bank and cross fingers. Sorry, I don't know about NI refunds. Unless it's a lot of money maybe best to leave it?

Imo the Mega and Mini Davide beat the Protanks, looks wise and vape wise. That's good enough for me! Please, can you tell me exactly which replacement heads I should buy? I think ones which fit the Protanks will work, but saw somewhere that the centre post needs to be swapped over, while others say they will work as is. And what's the best way to clean the heads? I like to have a few flavours on the go so maybe keep the Davide for citrusy ones and stick to my reliable Nanos for the safe stuff? For the time being, anyway.

Just ordered the Mini Davide I've been dithering about, though I'm not too sorry for the dithering as I'd been considering the Mini Protank too as lots more vendors stock it. However, it looks as if there may be issues with the Protank so decision made. I wasn't going to get anything else this month as the car needed MOT and service, but a letter enclosing a rather nice and completely unexpected cheque from the Revenue dropped through the letterbox this morning So I think a lovely purple Spinner would go nicely with the Davide. Unless anyone has a better idea?

Hello from another amateur! I have about four flavours on the go and swap around during the day. At the moment I'm alternating between bog standard RY4 from Vape Escape and Strawberries and Cream from Joose Juice, with Coconut from Joose Juice and Arctic Lemon from Vape Escape on stand-by. It really helps to keep your tastebuds awake. It helps to drink plenty as well.
In my limited experience the hardware isn't too much of an issue: there's loads of guidance on what to avoid or what to go for because stuff either works well or it doesn't. Finding your flavours can be a real problem because you have to experiment for yourself to find out what you like and what you don't, and if you're anything like me you'll find that flavours you thought you'd love you really can't get on with and vice-versa. Thank goodness for sample sizes. Good Luck!

I have quite a library of books about the American Civil War and have been to Gettysburg, Antietam, Bull Run and various other places. I also used to go walking up the Dales a lot and go to re-enactment weekends. Family and friends take up a lot of time now. My father is 91 and though housebound is still going strong and I do his shopping for him and visit him every week, and at the other end of life I have a lovely granddaughter (who is coming for a sleepover tonight, yay!). I read a lot, Internet a lot, and watch cycling a lot - The Vuelta starts tomorrow so that's my afternoons sorted for the next three weeks. Am also seriously thinking of getting a kitten for company. Haven't had a cat for a long since I lost my lovely old ginger fluffball. I still miss him. Won't go so far as Chrissie with her seven Maine Coons, though. One Norwegian Forest cat will be quite enough, but I'll have to find a good breeder and save up first. And then there's this place. So glad to have found it. I appreciate you ve delved deeper than a hollywood film but i have to say Daniel Day Louise was amazing in "Lincoln". Oooh, thanks for the reminder - have just popped over to Amazon and ordered it! Only £7 too. The Civil War is fascinating to study as the soldiers were mostly literate and there was no censorship, so there's vast amounts of letters and diaries full of information about the ordinary men, rather than just stuff about the generals. Antietam was the bloodiest single day in American history and there's an atmosphere about even now.

Hi Missrenata, Leeds lad here. I use the El Toro Eden a lot and that's a 50/50 pg/vg. I use it in a protank and have no troubles with it at all. Eden is the apple tabac and I also use the cigarillos with the same lack of problems. Hello, Pedaldog. I'm not a real Loiner - came here years ago because my job sent me. It is home now, though. I'm going to stop worrying about VG heavy liquids and just get on with it. It looks as though quite a lot of vapers go for VG and like you have no problems. Your apple tabac sounds lovely, I wish I could get on with tobacco flavours and am hugely tempted to try some Vermilion River Kentucky Maplewood, though I wish they had a choice of PG/VG ratios.
