That is quite a coincidence but I'm really glad to hear you got yours working correctly again! I am very curious to see if we discovered a little trend with the VV V3....I hope not because I love this little chameleon!
Anyways...I touched the edges of the pin lightly and got a little wiggle, but I'm too chicken to put any more pressure on it. I don't have the right tools to properly pull it up...my tweezers don't fit well and neither does my smallest screwdriver. Bummer.
Since it is still firing, I think I'm going to use it until Monday then listen to that little angel on my shoulder and not mess with it anymore. I'm just going to have to bite the bullet, send it back to freakin New Jersey, and let one of them be the person who tries to push the pin up (and possibly breaks it).
Thanks for the help!

I had one that for some reason the magnet pin cable connection had failed and I contacted my retailer who replaced it for me. But I have found certain clearomizers don't read with it unless I have a 510 to ego adapter. Where did you buy from? Every clearomizer / tank I've tried will not produce a reading. I tried both 510 & ego threaded devices. The day before it started displaying "NON" all the time, the resistance reading changed from a steady 2.1-2.3 to some wacky readings like 5.2 or 4.7. It did that for about 8-10 hours before it stopped recognizing all together. When your magnet pin cable connection failed, did it still fire? Mine is producing vape like it always has (wonderful clouds) but it just won't read the resistance. Yes, I have cleaned it up really well multiple times with a little bit of alcohol.

I'm having the same issue with my VV/VW V3. Although it still fires (and I LOVE this battery) the built-in resistance checker displays "NON" no matter what I attach to it. It still functions; however, this battery is just over a week old! Any suggestions as to what could be going on? I'm afraid to mess with the positive pin in the battery as it is still firing but it just sucks that it won't recognize any clearomizer / tank I attach to it.
