It`s a small atty and juice well, I would get a few vapes at 15 watts ish, but anything higher would be impractical That's roughly where I want to be, around 1.5ohm at between 10 - 15 watts. But at the moment the juice turns to ash after the first draw. I have some new tubing hopefully arriving tomorrow, Ill try with a different juice that is not a PITA to vape.

Silica

As a heavy smoker for over 40 years, I have never worried too much about the health risk of anything vaping related. I had the same chain of thought, I'm not sure why I started to look into it yesterday?

Silica

Im curious to find out peoples opinions on silica as a wick. I did a lot of reading yesterday on various safety issues with vaping and it is clear that there is an opinion out there that silica is not the SAFEST wick to be using. This does concern me some what as I normally use silica in my kayfuns which are generally my ADV. I also saw a company refuse to stock a new atty as it used silica wick? When I started vaping, cotton was not really the wick of choice and all the tank atomisers were using silica as the wick. Its hard to google this subject without reading pages and pages of American forums of people arguing with each other. What's the general consensus from this community? Perpetua are you still using the miles and miles of silica you have stocked up?

I recently got a chalice BF atty to try out Squonking, but I'm curious to see how other users are setting them up?
I have tried the way Todd set it up in his review and that doesn't work for me. I would need to Squonk after every draw to keep the wick saturated and even then it still dries out super quick.
I then tried pbusardo's method of tucking cotton under the coil and over to the opposite side of the deck, again that didn't work as it had to much cotton and it wasn't wicking well.
Im considering trying a 2mm silica set up similar to a katfun/spheroid but take the legs under the coil and leave them vertical going up the inside of the chamber?
Im currently using a HoL Guevara in it which destroys a coil within 30 secs if the wick isn't super saturated.
If you could let me know what Ohms, Watts and the wick set up you use that would be a great help, photos would be even better.
Thanks in advance.

Yeah very airy i usually run mine about one third open and it's still a very loose draw. I was looking at them online today and I admit I quite like it, if it vapes like the goblin mini then it will be spot on. How big is it compared to a subtank mini?

My little stealth bomber, princely sum of £9.79 for the mod,(I had some GB points to use) That would be tiny with a goblin mini on top.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a flatter to allow me to use 22mm atties on my Squonker?
Im happy with smaller atties but I would like to give myself options if any decent 22mm BF atties are available.

ervi its a 15mm catch cup so that will limit what bf rda's can go in it but I always prefer smaller rda's as the smaller chamber gives great flavour What atties are available at this size?
