Bad news about Fasttech sending you V1 as they sent me V2, which is a cracking bit of kit I got an iclear 30 tank included in the price and at 7w gives a good hit with plenty of vapour. In fact IMHO the taste using the iclear 30 on the MVP is better than when I use an iclear 30 on my Vamo. Agree with the battery life as it just seem to go for days. I am keeping my eye on the VTR for when the price drops

I was looking at the MVPs at FastTech: www.fasttech.com/products/1411/10004594/1390901They all say:  Has anyone ordered one since then? Did you get a version 2? If it hasn't arrived yet please post here when it does and let us know when you ordered and what version you received. Ordered the Black MVP with iclear 30 on 15 September and it arrived 1 October. It is version 2 with VV and VW cost £29.67. The description say that the ohms on the iclear 30 is 2.7.....it is actually 2.2 Griff |

There are additional safety precautions that can be taken when charging batteries. I read somewhere that flame proof bags are available to contain batteries during charge, does anyone know where? Another idea would be to place the battery in a tin can, thus preventing it from setting fire to worktops etc. Ideally, you need a can with a push on lid, with vent holes punched in it to allow gasses to escape. During sudden gas venting, a battery can act like a small rocket for a few seconds. So place something heavy on top of the tin lid. Hopefully this will contain any battery explosion, and render it a non event. You can the Battery Charging Bag here, here, here. There are many other suppliers via google. Griff |
