One of the things I did miss as a smoker as time went gradually by was the smell of lighting a cigarette with a match , the combination of fresh smoke and sulphur ummmmm it was like heaven ( at the time ) but no more sadly but I guess its for the best. Treat yourself! A box of Matches only costs 10p, might look a bit weird tho, 1 person sniffing a lit match. Cheaper than a new Shiny!!!

Just bought a Touchwood 18650 Mechanical Mod. Just checking if I should get: 1) Nipple Tops? The videos I've seen seem to use them, is that right 2) Protected or not. Will protected ones fit the Touchwood? 3) How many mAh? 2600 or 2000? 4) I want a battery Charger that turns itself off when batteries are charged, I don't want to wake up wondering! I'm planning on buying from Torchy the Battery Boy, I know he's a reputable seller, but how do Torchy's own brand stand up to Efest in the longevity stakes in the world of Vaping? Any other advice would be welcome, keep it simple tho', I'm a bit dim, but I have got a Multi-meter!

I'm not sure myself, but I think V1 was only VERY early models, I've only seen the insides of a V2. I am NOT expecting an unblemished MOD, unlike Shineys, which scratch and mark and look very used, for ME a Tochwood could only be improved by handling. Any problems with the fire button on yours, I know they are very "simple" switches, and am happy to mess with one, just wanting to know of any issues before I commit to my first Mech Mod.

Does having 1000 posts make you a GRANDfather ginge?? Work it out what you would have spent on Cigs at UK Duty paid prices and I think you'll find you're still ahead by ££s!!

Hi john, I got my Snake Oil over a week ago, and my first impression WAS of Aniseed, but I was expecting this as I contacted Si who makes it and thats what he told me it would be like at FIRST. I have tried it again over a week later and now the aniseed flav has mellowed and become a harmonious part of the whole flav. Haribo and Sour Snakes? Maybe, but I would suggest a much more complex and far less jarring flavour, I am still being left with the cooling effect on exhale, but again after another weeks steeping it has become a cool, fresh pillow upon which I can rest my head and reflect on the developing flavour. An All Day Vape, for me not, I would find it too much. As a treat, definitely a regular one. I would hate to Vape it so much that I go off it, I positively look forward to finding how much another day, or two, has changed its quite subtle undertones. Yep, it's nice. Try a sample,Vape a little, leave it a week (it's worth the wait) and then see what you think then

Yep, every Sunday there is a "Steady" Session at our Local, mainly English, Scottish and some French/European tunes, occasionally Irish, but I find them a bit fast to manage!!

Excellent! A thread about Mechanical mods and iGo-L all rolled into one. My least favourite items of Vaping equipment. T'riffic. Sorry @djs, I'm merely expanding my knowledge about Vaping options for these fast approaching Winter evenings, I've just got a Mandolin to try out as well!! Have to fill my time actively now I'm not Smoking!!!

All I know at the moment is that my MVP2 only needed charging every couple of days when I first got it, now it needs charging every night, the "Puff Counter" was up around 650++ at first before it needed a recharge, now its 400++, it also seems to have only a few Vapes when it turns Orange before it turns off. The puff counter is not really an indicator of battery performance ... you might be using a lower resistance atty or a higher voltage or taking longer draws ... all these will discharge your battery faster ... but the battery should still be good for the 400/500 recharges no matter how quickly it discharges. I could be, but I'm using the same iClear30 with iClear30 heads, dunno about the resistance, but I ordered the same as came with it originally, I do increase my Voltage over the day, from 3.8v in the Morning up to 4.8v by evening time, but I have been alternating between my iClear30 and a BC,with I think a single coil but don't know the resistance of that either, I suppose that could have some bearing. If the MVP performs for 400 charges thats over a year, not bad I suppose. I'll let you know when it stops, and can work out the number of recharges. The only thing is I use it when I'm driving (I know, I know) and recharge it on the go as well.

Thanks poochops, stick with MVP2, just get another one then??? I do find the MVP fine, I'm just thinking about the cost of replacing it every 3 or 4 months. I'm not sure what's inside an MVP2 as a battery, I guess I'll find out when it dies and I strip it out An MVP should be good for around 400 - 500 recharges so even if you are a seriously heavy vaper and recharging it every day it should be good for at least a year! If it packs in after 3 - 4 months I would return it to the vendor for a replacement. All I know at the moment is that my MVP2 only needed charging every couple of days when I first got it, now it needs charging every night, the "Puff Counter" was up around 650++ at first before it needed a recharge, now its 400++, it also seems to have only a few Vapes when it turns Orange before it turns off.
