Thanks again to everyone for the invaluable advice. I'm going to go for the E VOD starter kit and see how I get on with that.
I assume that the Bottom Coil Heads (the starter kit comes with 5) have a certain lifespan before they need replacing.

Thanks again, I figured there would be many factors that affect the length of time the liquid lasts. The guide that freefromsmoking linked to looks very comprehensive so i'm going to have a good read of that later.
I'm so glad I joined this forum, I only stumbled across it as I googled to see if there were any customer reviews from people using the same product as me!!

Thanks so much for all your help, really appreciated.
I have never been too keen on trying the type that involves using liquid but I think it's clear that they are the way to go to avoid the problems I have encountered with the OK brand, certainly for home use anyway.

Many thanks. I actually bought a second starter pack to alleviate the battery problem!
I think I shall purchase a better product, it did seem to good to be true for the price but in it's defence it is very convenient and readily available but in my personal experience their claims about the battery life and cartridges seem a bit fanciful!

Hi everyone, i'm new to the forum and would like to discuss and compare my experience of using e-cigs as I don't have anyone in my circle of friends or family who use them.
I have been using the 'OK' brand of e-cigs from Asda for around 2 months which I am relatively happy with, in that time I have not been tempted to use regular cigarettes. Compared to other brands they seem on the face of it really good value as the starter kit (which contains a battery, USB charger and 2 cartridges) only costs £6 with refill packs costing £6 for 5 cartridges, they are available in supposedly medium/high nicotine and they have a menthol variety too.
However, I am personally finding that each cartridge lasts nowhere near the claimed 25 cigarettes. I seem to be going through 2 cartridges a day, I have never in my life smoked more than 20-25 regular cigarettes in the same period.
Has anyone had any experience of this brand? As far as i'm aware they are sold at a great price point compared to rival brands but i'm beginning to wonder whether more expensive brands may actually turn out to be better value in the long run.
Many thanks.
