It was on sale, so maybe its one of these original ones. Thankyou again for helping Im not a vapemad type of person, just looking to cut costs where ever I can, you guys and gals are always so helpful, thanks again

Cheers phatfil, but its the screws at the top of the tank, next to the mouth piece, they rba needs the slimmer chimney that comes in the box, I cant swap it until I get the screw out, first one came out fine but th second one wouldnt budge Ive contacted Vapegear about a refund/return. I was looking for 1.8ohm coils and thought 28AWG was the best to get, but these ready made ones werent available in that guage, so I took the next one listed, doh!

Back again So I ordered the Kanger Subtank as I found it on sale at £20. I decided to just buy some coils rather than build, as I could get 50 for a couple of quid, it seemed a no brainer. The first issue Ive encountered is that the Kanger tank has two screws on the top (Tip Connector) and using both the Kanger screwdriver and my own Jewelers I cant get one of them off, its starting to chow and so Im inclined to just send the whole thing back. Now that Ive got the Kanger tank I can see the coils are much sturdier than the ones I got off ebay which were 32awg/1.8ohms, does anyone know the AWG of the official Kanger ones? IF anyone wants these ebay coils send me a pm and I will post them for free.

Take your bottle of fresh e-Liquid and shake really well and then open it.
Recycle the air inside by squeezing it carefully in and out.
Then screw the cap back on and shake again.
Put in a dark place and leave it alone for a week.Maybe a bit too obvious, but Im a noob mixer, finally got around to starting tonight, a wee baby mix of 20ml In the above you mention putting the cap back on and shaking, then leaving alone, Whenever Ive bought juice Ive always taken the lid and then the nozzle off, before putting in a cold dark place for a week or so, do I not need to take the nozzle off?

when I look inside my Kanger dual coils, I see one coil not two, what am I missing? Ive re some tutorials about rewiring and the diagrams all show to individual coils, but even on my nature vape coils it looks like there is just one, or is one inside the other?

Thankyou mate But if Kanger arent supporting building your own, then I dont think I would bother with them, Im looking for something that would last for a long time, your offer is very kind, but if Kanger are going to be like this then they aint getting my money I can keep on buyng the NatureVape coils for the Mega, I just have to more careful when pulling the cotton out so I dont snap the coil connections But I like the idea of only needing to buy some wire and cotton once every six months or so, so Im back to hunting around again. This site is an absolute goldmine of info though, been reading so many guides I think your a little confused. The Subtank mini comes with OCC coils which aren't designed to be rebuilt and an RBA deck which is designed specifically to be built on in addition some users choose to rebuild the OCC heads even though that's not the design intent. Your right I am Back to reading

Can I ask what subtank it is your referring to wight? I took it to be the Kanger and the Greigster "How to recoil" video sold me on it:) Brilliantly simple , but I keep seeing warnings attached to the Kanger subtank on each vendors page saying its only for subohming "These replacement coils are designed for sub-ohm vaping. They require more vaping experience to use safely, and extra care should be taken when using a sub ohm tank. These coils will only work on a mod capable of firing sub ohm atomisers. Please ensure that your batteries can handle the extra power requirements, and that your mod can handle the amps" are they just referring to the coils that come with it? Also can anyone recommend an ohms reader please ?

Subtank mini is my go to tank, and I don't subomh. Easy to build on the rba deck I build mine to about 1.8 ohm or the 1.5 ohm vertical coils are pretty good if you can't be bothered to recoil THanks for recommendations guys:) Is this the case with all Subohm tanks, you dont need sub-ohm batteries etc? I noticing most vendors dont mention if its ego 510 threaded, has this become the standard now?

At the moment Im just using Kanger Aero tanks and Mega Aero Tanks, I have 2 Innokin MVPs, I dont sub-ohm and Im not sure what is meant by "drippers" but I just tend to vape at about 3.7v for two or 3 secs, for as long as I have time (can be hours ) I also have the Aspire Nauticulus but tend not to use it as I know the coils cant be re-threaded (easily) with cotton. Im getting fed up with the dodgy Kanger tanks connections, eventually they just dont connect and Im also relying on Naturevapes coils for them as the Kanger ones are terrible. They do last along time, but combined with the tank issues Im wondering about going down a totally new tank route. So Im coming round to the idea of getting a tank that I can build my own coils on and wondered if people could recommend a tank to start out with, bearing in mind all the above stuff about not sub ohming etc. Thanks in advance

thanks ceedee and PS I dont have any extra PG or VG, I was thinking with the 500ml 70/30VG 6mg pre mix bottle, I was just needing to add flavour to 30ml from the bottle I need to clear a day to re-read the tutorials on here lol. But Im also tempted to just go with 73/27 mix, cant do any harm and the less nicotine I can get away the better

Does this look right? When I press calculate it comes up "Enter 0 in Nic Strength mg and 0 in Nic Target mg For NO Nicotine" Ive entered 0 at Target Nicotine Strength because the 500ml has 0.6% already added. Hello again Got back to this after a few days working, does the above look okay?

if mixing by shaking in the bottle, mix 1/2 the volume of the bottle you have at a time. you will need a good volume of air in the bottle to make a shake mix effective, if you fill a bottle and then shake you will be at iot all night and still may not mix sufficiently... so a 10ml bottle will be good for mixing say upto 60ml and a 30ml bottle will be good for mixing up 15-20ml.. you can always mix less enjoy... Cheers, I had been thinking about leaving space for a wee shake about, but wasnt sure Im planning on just shaking it for a minute a day for about 2 weeks, for juices I have ordered requiring steeping thats what Ive always done. If this mixing works well Im thinking of trying the same mixture but using the Ultra Sonic Ive got to speed it up a bit
