Cheers babs, thought it was just my imagination Could I ask what settings you use? I tend to find nothing below 9w is any use and the other setting I seem to have settle at 4.4. Its just when the liquid level gets low I tend to reduce the numbers of both as I think thats when I mostly get the burnt taste coming through. I think the strength of battery affects it all too, even when its still flashing green.

Hi stil kind of new to Vaping. I own an Innokin variable settings. Its the v3 and I use the 30s tank. Im finding the settings arent making a vast difference. It tends to be some draws are quite bland then some have a good kick for the throat. Not sure if its the settings or just normal part of vaping. I tend to find myself rolling the Innoking round and round a few times, in the believe that some of the juices go into the wholes in the coil and provide a better draw, but not really sure. Ive found that Im set at 10w+ and 4.4v, dont know if this means anything to anyone ie. that maybe its too high or something. Would appreciate any advice, or info. I have also noticed the 30s tanks that I buy have a box ticked for 2.1ohms, again dont know what differenc this makes, but there are other boxes on the same package for lower ohms ratings. Im loathe to buy another Ecig, as the Innokin was my 3rd and with all the experimenting to find the right juices Ive spent more in the past month than I spent on the smokes But Ive noticed that there is an Innokin MVP which has a higher maximum wattage (15) and wonder if I might be better off with that one as the v3 needs charging every 2-3 hours. Ive taken to carry 3 batteries and a 30ml bottle with me when ever Im out! Just wondered if anyone can tell me what the wattage, voltage and ohms mean more than anything. Thanks for any help forthcoming

Hi been vaping for a month now. I use the Innokin v3 with the tanker 30s Ive been using the same supplier for basically the same variations on the Menthol flavour they make and have settled on the following; 6mg PG30/VG70 Ive had a few problems with the vendor, so I dont want to mention there name here, as Im not sure I would recommend them. I wondered if anyone could recommend some other vendors that stock these types of eliquids? At the moment Im finding most vendors dont list the PG/VG ratio and/or the nicotine levels are 12mg+ Its also hard to find out if the juices are meant to be steeped and if so for how long. Been going round the net for about 2 hours, so I thought I would give this a try instead, Thanks for any help you guys can give.

its just there is a general believe you cant trust the tobacco companies anyway and we bought their stuff for decades. "a general belief you can trust tobacco companies" I'm afraid I wouldn't trust big T, they are peddling death for extortionate profit Thats a strange way to quote someone mate.

I first tried Vaping a few months back and "quit", went back to roll-ups, then patches, gum and back to rollups. 1st Jan I decided to try again. I bought a Innokin V3 which has some variable settings, which in my mind meant I had a better chance of getting what I needed without by another "ecig". The first reason for stopping vaping was it is too complicated, even in this thread there are abbreviations like RBA - which I havent heard of before, there are too many unknown companies too. A website can be an individual or a company and while some will tell you PG/VG ratios, some will not. While some people insist Juices need to be left for a week before opened, Ive not seen many sites tell me this before I buy. Most importantly, and rather ironically considering I smoked rolling tobacco, there is no real "ingredients" listed, even if you are told the PG/VG ratio. I dearly wanted to find a Tesco etc that made their own version and still find it a little strange the Nicorette arent out there making juices and ecigs. Im back on to vapes because Im due in hospital to have a benign tumour removed and yesterday went for my pre-op assessment, the nurse and then the Consultant couldnt tell me anything about vaping, nothing good nor bad. The consultant is not even sure if I can vape the day before/of my operation (Im getting a General Anesthetic). The fact she hadnt heard of any "disasters" suggested to her "it would probably be fine". wtf?!! It really is quite unnerving and at the end of the day it still seems you have no idea what your buying, even if someone is telling you what it is, this industry desperately needs a regulator, before it gets abused, if its not all ready. I have a slight suspicion the tobacco companies will be doing everything they can to keep it like a Wild West, the few people I know in real life who now vape or tried it and went back to smokes, admit the same concerns, its just there is a general believe you cant trust the tobacco companies anyway and we bought their stuff for decades. I have tried looking for it, but there was an article a few month ago in the FT, about tobacco companies buying ecigs companies, the writer was suggesting what they are really doing is trying to surpress the competition as soon as a market leader emerges, rather than move into the market itself. Im enjoying my vaping to a degree, took time off work this time I stopped smoking and although its been hellish its not been as bad as anything else Ive ever tried, could probably even just took a day or two off instead. Maybe the nicest thing so far is being able to keep the windows pretty much closed the whole evening, certainly the cat appreciates it

Hi just to say Ive settled on a Menthol 30PG/70VG low strength nicotine, Ican puff away on this without that tingling on my gums. Im going to stick with this product, from Healthy Vape for now, still feels like Im giving up smoking, but not as bad as any time before. I know I could try a higher nicotine level, but dont want to risk it incase its been the nicotine rather than the PG irritating my gums. Thanks for all the help, its made a great difference to sticking with it this time. Still not sure where/how to leave these top parts when not using them. I got another liquid container from HealthyVape an I clear 30-s Clearomizer tank, but when I screw this off and put on the 16 Clearomizer if I leave it on its side it leaks and if I leave it standing up it leaves a wee puddle on the base? At the moment Ive taken to resting the whole ecig in a diagonal position on my mouse mat, which has a wrist support, seems the only way to do this, for now. Ive ordered a few variations from the same site, as they offer the same product with stronger throat hits, which is what Im missing most. I found last night one can of Budweiser left me feeling quite ill too, but Im not often a drinker and have always found I smoked like a chimney whenever I did drink. All in Im reasonably happy, just want to give it another week to really see how it feels. How do you know when these Clearomizers need replacing, do they start to smell/taste different? Thanks again.

Hi all, took the plunge and bought some Menthol and Tobacco flavours( I know, I know) from a recommendation on here. Going to disappear from here for a wee while, as its tempting to buy a bit of everything recommended and I think I need to try settling with one for a while, before trying another. Thanks so much for all the info and encouragment, at work today I could of smashed my head through a wall and a few customers, buts that me got 2 weeks now to be left alone and detox. Hopefully the last order I put in on Saturday will arrive tomorrow or Wednesday. Im taking it that the Clearomizers are best used for one flavour alone, but how do I actually know when it needs replacing is it a taste thing or does it look different inside? I had a puff of a colleagues today, which was high nictotine and high VG, with apple flavouring. I found I wasnt feeling anything as I sucked in then started coughing, as I took it out my mouth and "swallowed", it was like when I had my first ever fag, lol! So Ive ruled out 100% and 90% VG. I also had a dentist app today and hes spotted receding gums, he wasnt sure but he though too high a PG can irritate gums and that may be why they have receded a little, on the other hand he did admit it could be the other way round Cant face the hospital and still be a smoker, so Im going to just keep on trying with these things. Do people have a rule about how many puffs they take before they stop? Ive tried telling myself 3 minutes every hour, at work its not a hugh problem but at home Ive been sucking away for up to 30minutes and so maybe that alone causes the problems ive been having. Thanks again, I havent found away of getting an email when there is a reply here, but I will try and comeback later in week, let you know how Ive been getting on and no doubt ask for more help lol All the best HL

Sorry no way to take a picture just now and Ive no reciept from the site I bought it all from The liquid containers are called iclear16 Dual Coil Clearomizer on the box it has a pen mark on the 2.1 Ohm, the same person has then scored through the 5pcs and wrote 4. There is an itazte scratch card type thing, that gives you a code that I have confirmed at innokin.com. thanks so much for all the info. Have got work now so will try to sit down tomorrow and read through everything, then try to answer what questions you have asked. thanks so much

I vape a Virginia flavour pretty regular, its much higher in VG to PG, not sure exactly what percentage though the maker would keep you right. Its called TCV and its made to a standard 12% nic. If interested drop me a pm and I'll dig the contact address out. Its a really lovely flavour. If you happen to find it mate let me know, but dont go to any trouble just now, if its alright I may comeback to you later. Im thinking Im going to stick with one of these cappachino flaovurs and just go through the ratios to see what one works best, then I will try flvours. Maybe folks are right about ditchn tobacco flavours, its just the throat hit was just right to me, but I keep reading the PG is whats causing it and that that is the thing that maybe causing the irritation after 3 or 4 puffs. Think I need to kind of simplify, thankyou for the offer and hope you wont mind if I come back later, cheers mate

Hi thanks to all, Ive got a feeling you all know the fut head Ive had the last few days too. I took time to reply because Ive not found how to get an email when there is a reply? The thing about the GV juice I was smoking was I liked it, lol! It had a kick in it that felt like baccy. Ie got some coffe flavours but they are all PG 70, Ive hunted somemore on the net and it seems most tobacco flavours are that setting of 70.30 too. Ive settled for now on a 50/50 cappuchino flavour but I know its not for me, its just its not causing this tingling sensation so quickly in my mouth. All the flavours I have are either 18mg or 12mg nicotine. I also got up this morning and found the Cappuchino flavour has become kind of solid in the ecig, is that normal? Im still able to smoke it, but the GV juice would stay liquid. The sweetness of the Cappuchino flvr is a bit off to me, I did used to smoke Vanilla rolling tobacco but the Vanilla really did tear my mouth up in September. Im definately going through withrawel symptoms my head is that fuzzy way, and I find when Im sucking the ecig I really want to bite into the Filter thingy lol. Will try drinking more water and have gone to a site and orderd more of the cartomiers, so I can try new flavours If its okay 2 other things are the cartomisers seem to leak when they are not attacjed to the ecig, as they came in a cardboard box im not sure how to store them? The other is Ive been placing the ecig on an edge so that its sitting diagonal, with the filter at rop and base lower down, if I leave it flat it tends to flood the filter, Ive got 2 cats and this was another reason for stopping before, though for leaks, this ecig is much better than "Elegance" one i first bought. Its the fuzzy head and the minefield of options and websites Ive not heard of that got me wound up last night, Im sitting thinking I should just have a real smoke settle down and then start reading, but Im kidding myself that I will, life gets in the way and theres no time. Ive got 2 weeks off work to get this nailed down, so I really appreciate the help you have all offered, will go follow the links and just blow some money on 50/50 or less PG juices. Think the flavours arent to appealing to me just now, so Im going to go for mint or something, the sweet ones feel too sickly. I take theres no sugar like stuff that can damage teeth in any of these? I googled but didnt find anything. thankyou again, will check back in tomorrow, Happy New Year to you all

Hi I joined here a couple of months back and after about a month of trying different ecigs and liquids I had spent close to £300 and nothing felt right so I gave up and went back to GV rollups:( Fate has caught up with me now though and Im waiting for the results from a sample taken from the lump in my pituitary gland So Im back to these things, I have an Innokinn Itazte vv as I thought the variable part would help me find what I needed. The main reason I quit ecigs before was the following problems, which I cant really solve. 1. After a couple of puffs i get a tingling feeling around my gums and tongue, I think this was the PG value, but i kept struggling to find retailers who even gave a description of the PG/VG ratio. I know just now the flavour, for me, needs to be as close to GVirginia as possible and would appreciate any recommendations. 2. There is always a kind popping noise when I press the button for more than 1 or 2 seconds, dont know if thats normal or im doing something wrong. 3. 100% VG seemed to make my stomach painful, but even 50/50 gave me that tingling sensation I get from PG, I never found anything less than 60/40, though I cant remember which was which as the bottle I still have doesnt say on it. Its ELiquid Hangsen Golden VI, but weirdly the Hangsen just seems to list flavours but no means to purchase, never mind PG/VG ratios? 4. The biggest issue for me was they dont go out! lol. I could find my self puffing away until the gums hurt, then puffing away a few minutes later again. Are there any ecigs that beep after 3 minutes or something? Im say 3mins because an average smoke takes that long for me. 5. Do people think its best to get the low strength nicotine and puff as much as you need? I smoked about 30 rollups a day, but sometimes on these ecigs (again theres nothing on the bottle to tell me its strength) I can end up with a headache even I manage to avoid enraging my gums. 6. The problem with liquids is not knowing who to trust too, there doesnt seem to be any company thats been around for years and moved into this new market. Even Nicorette dont seem to want to be involved. Would greatly appreciate any help people could give in relation to these issues. thankyou

Hello again to all, not sure if I should be posting here or elsewhere, but I thought I should report in on my ecig experience. The Elegance kit arrived the following day from Cloud9. They helpfully provided their own instructions for use as the company dont seem to bother, but wants not to clear (probably because its obvious and Im just dumb) is the following... Do I inhale while pressing the button down, or do I press, for chosen time and then inhale? I have also found that my mouth can feel a bit irritated and have read elsewhere here that can be the level of PG, so I have order some samples from another company called Health E Vape, with a lower ratio 50/50 instead of 70/30. I wanted the throat hit and I feel that will be important if Im going to get used to this. Im also finding I either keep on puffing away until my mouth starts tingling or I put it down and forget to switch it off. It doesnt seem to switch itself, though it was stated it would do this. My other question is about how much from a bottle is enough. Is it a bit like filling a Zippo? You find its flooding, but if you wait it goes down and then you can add quite a bit more? Im not sure if the tingling//irritating sensation is this PG value or, because Ive never put enough fluid in it and its begining to "burn" or even if its just the Vanilla essence flavour is a bit too strong. Still not sure about this, but Ive read some very sad stories from users on here and elsewhere about the reality of what continuing to smoke the fags can end up causing to your health. Moneys tight and so before I decided this change in my life I had stocked up in tobacco, still finding I prefer to have a fag more than a puff on the ecig and a big part is this issue with the fact the E-cig doesnt really end, as in theres no stubbing out after 5 minutes or so. Has anyone else found this an issue when switching? Thanks again for the warm welcome, sorry if Ive posted in the wrong place. All the best

Yes thats the one, wasnt sure if i could post a link. It arrived today and have just charged it just now. I chose tobacco and vanilla flavours. Have had a few puffs on the vanilla, 18mg. Its a bit sweet and I do find myself choking a little just now on it. Cloud9 supplied me with their own instructions on how to use the Elegance cig, which was helpful as there wasnt much n the box and the 3 click idea has aleady been changed to 5 clicks with my model. I had a wisdom tooth ripped out yesterday so it couldnt of arrived at a better time, dentist told me not to smoke for 24 hours! Really hopeful I can get off the rollups and on to these. Thanks for all the kind wishes

Hi to all, Ive just stumbled across your site today, but it was yesterday I made my first foray into the e-cig market. I bought a starter kit called The Elegance Starter Kit, but Ive since realised it has no option to change the watt/volt. So Ive been looking around and found this place I havent recieved the kit yet, but if its no use Im going to look at the Sigelei Telescoping ZMax V3 intelligent as it seems to give the most options, albiet I think alot of the things on it are not needed, like the date and number of puffs etc. Would love to hear what people think about these products and my biggest fear would be that I buy an e-cig that limits me to that companies flavours only. Also when looking at the Sigelei they are saying its a complete kit, but then go on to say choose from the following Kanger Protank, ismoka bcc and Innokin iclear30. Any advise on which I should choose? Ive noticed there doesnt seem to be a clear favourite and Amazon bascially have nothing Ive read being mentioned on any website, the website I purchased the Elegance kit from dont seem to list and variables, unless its under another name, but I looked for both Twister and Spinner Sorry for going on abit I did watch the videos on how to get started and i think it will be even more helpful when ive got one in my hands ty and I look forward to helping out with reviews of flavours, ordered Tobacco an Vanilla with Starter kit
