These are very easy to rebuild with either Ni200 or kanthal much easier than the old protank coils.

Thanks phtumshk bit pricy though for my budget. 22mm fits perfectly on my istick 40tc though. |

Hope that's right smarties never done a YouTube link before. I also do Ni200 coils for these quite successfully. 8 wraps of 30awg on 2.5 former spaced comes out at .15ohm

Their video on u tube says that you need to cut the cotton as close as possible or it chokes the juice channel smarties. I have the juice control ring fully open too. |

I have these and make micro coils on a 2.5 former with slightly less cotton than normal and only get dry hits when out of juice. I do add quite a lot of juice to the coil when priming down the centre until the cotton is wet on the outside. Oh and I cut the cotton as close as possible when wicking after putting on the top cap. Hope this helps

Just using my first Ni200 coil in an istick 40tc. I rebuilt a eGo one CLR coil with 30awg Ni200. 8 wraps on a 2.5mm former. It came in at 0.15ohm and seems to give more flavour not much more vapour but I mouth to lung (I think) vape.
Never used tc or Ni200 before but it seemed pretty straight forward it was more springy than kanthal so needed pinching together a few times to be small enough to fit. I spaced the coil after pinching and it's working only had it going for the last couple of hours to I can't say how long it will perform this well.

I ordered 2 of these Sunday received Tuesday very good service. Just using in watts at the mo as waiting for wire for nickel builds.

I agree that making a statement from AAEC on behalf of us members. My first reaction when reading the announcement was worry about the MHRA being the competent body in charge of regulating e-cigs.

Hi @markdandav I'm not very experienced but I usually use .25mm round a 2mm former 7 to 8 turns gives me around the 1.8 - 2.0 ohms
