Been a while, but I popped back to AAEC to ask if anyone knows of any vape-friendly or vape-positive cafes in London except Vape Lab in Shoreditch (still running?) and the one I spotted off the Euston Road a few weeks ago.

Sorry, yes, DNA20 from FastTech - that will teach me to post before my eyes are properly open (late night).
I think the reviews are pretty unfair though - I'd take this over the Innokin MVP. I bought it expecting to be wasting my money, but I've actually found myself using it every day.

Glad I waited for mine from FastTech, came already fitted with a 2000mAh IMR battery I wasn't even expecting for less than that.

Weren't the papers saying that e-cigs were bad for you and didn't help people quit a few weeks ago?, certainly changed their tune all of a sudden. No, they were reporting on the results of a study, just like they reported on the results of a study yesterday. I can't remember a single paper that has had an editorial coming out explicitly for or against electronic cigarettes. THEM that have vested interests to keep vaping under their control ......... And this 'them' have editorial control at both the BBC and, say, the Daily Mail?

Robert West is not a medical doctor, he holds a PhD in psychology. Most medical doctors, especially GPs, are not good scientists (that's the usual chip on the shoulder of a PhD, I should admit).

The better universities are fairly good at getting press releases directly to broadcasters, in my experience

Well, indeed (hence I said so), but this study and the reporting of it are nothing to do with either.
I think we need to be conscious not to make this whole process 'us' and 'them'.

they will not look total idiots Not sure who the 'they' is here (?) This is a UCL study reported by the BBC, nothing directly to do with the MHRA or government(s).

Interesting, seniorphil. I just went it for an hour or so for this study. It's a shame they (UCL) were very interested in taking pictures of everyone's devices, but the media will do what they see fit.

No, that's the problem, the VTR has this stupid spinning part that I don't think you can get spares for. Thanks for confirming it's not impossible to break the Provari's connector too - if I can be done, I'd do it (probably about two weeks in)
