Out of interest, what does it cost (and what effort is required) to replace the 510 connector on a Provari?

we do have the lovely ronaldo who would, very likely, be able to fix them for you, if you so wished Is Ronaldo able to fix a stripped 510 on a VTR? I'd pay for that. The MVP was always destined to be a battery pack once the 510 gave out. The ZMax is just a mess, probably not worth salvaging.

I don't agree, @yinyang. That I can strip down a mech mod, adjust the 510 connector for problems, and, even if not replace the parts of the mod itself (economically), at least re-use the Kick in another mod is a huge advantage over the broken ZMax, MVP and VTR sitting in front of me.

This illustrates my point, could of probably bought a big P for the cost of what you've trashed and it would still be going strong. Not a criticism barrynorton as I've bought all those vw's and mechs too. But in hindsight and if I was starting over I be straight into 2 provaris and a couple of nemmi clones as back ups. I also lost a 134 though...

Because clones are basically a tenner and replaceable separately not just from the battery, but also the Kick. I've killed four VW mods and I'm sick of the expense.

The site says they manufacture themselves and they're based in Bolton... which I don't believe

no they don't appear to be - I only bought 10ml sizes to see if I would like it as they also do 100ml bottles and larger.... So it says it on the bottle? Could we get a photo? Not to hassle you, but if this it what they're doing it should be made clear to people.

It's a bad idea. Why would you even want to try?

my advise is talk to them and see what happens becuase myepack are good vendors I've also had a good experience with them in the past, but this sounds like weak advice to someone who claims to have been trying to contact them and been ignored, and has heard that others are being.

I think they're unique, but they're easily rebuildable according to the FT discussion

Just had a more detailed look "Brass (510 connector)" Wondering if that connector is silver coated and brass underneath...eVic thread springs to mind Yeah, I noticed in FT's pics that the fixed-battery one's 510 connector is uncoated brass but the one without a battery looks silver.
