Those look like 'Tank' atomisers and not really suitable for dripping. Thanks ,,, that's good to know.

For clean juices choose clear ( ie not cloudy ) and light coloured or colourless juices. Thanks , that's good to know. And as for the the cartridges and attys I'll be saving them for my personal vaping museum. My Boge 2.3 ohm cartomizers give a superior vape....although at this early stage I can only lightly vape during the day because even that makes me a little spaced out.

"My Joye Ego does not have a removable cover on the atomizer". Sorry Sellaman, I don't understand that, any chance of you posting a pic to show us what you mean? Here's 2 of my atomizers....I had to take a pic of them because I could not find any pics on the web. My Joye Ego Kit had an option of type A or B atomizers, so I went for the A. I don't know the difference but I suppose the Type B have removable covers. Her's the page I got my Kit from. www.ecig-sa.com/ego-kits.phpAs you can see , the atomizers I have are just one piece. You can't separate the cover from the atomizer. I suppose it doesn't make any difference. Just little things I am learning all the time.

A little strong in the nic department, but I would really like to buy some in a lower strength, anything over 18mg and I fall over I'm just wondering ....would 18mg nic made by one juice maker be more or less stronger than another maker?

Thanks Chrissie and perpetua.
My Joye Ego does not have a removable cover on the atomizer. That's what confused me at first, because I had seen other videos showing the adding and removal of the atomizer cover. Is that right....do I have a one piece atomizer and cover? I can see no way to remove the cover.
Next, I did see that my cartridges were pre-filled with juice. It vaped real well. When I first got the kit and until now , I did not open the cartridges to discover that in fact they do have some sort of foam in them and that they are pre-filled. It just that when I first got the kit, that the cartridge that was fitted on the atomizer in the kit had nothing in it at all. It was just an empty cartridge.
I won't use the drip tip that came with the kit right now ...nor will I drip onto the atomizer yet. I still have to experiment with the filled cartridges first.
Thanks for the youtubes!

You want to drip them Sellaman, is that what you'd like to do? Well, I have a Joye eGo kit and I've been using cartomizers till now. It came with two atomizers and 6 cartridges and I don't know how to use them. A youtube explaining how to use Atomizers and cartridges would be helpful. Do you use the cartridges with the atomizer? And I don't understand why there were 6 cartridges in the kit. Why so many? It doesn't look like they can wear out. So wouldn't one cartridge be enough? I'm just wondering that I may get a different ( and maybe cleaner) type of vape using atomizers.

Well, seeing that the 1.5 ohm Boge cartos are not available any more ............what about smoktech-dual-coil-cartomizers? I was told by a person that helped me get started that, that is what I should get.

I found that when I first started vaping that I liked the very high (about 24 mg) nic strength juice. They seemed to hit the spot over the weaker ones. Well, the strongest strength nic that I ordered and expect to have soon is 18 nic. I was afraid to try any higher just in case it knocked my head off. Also I'm scared to physically handle stronger nic juices just in case I get the nic on my hands. Well, I hope the nic juices I ordered will help me quit the analogues.

Sellaman, what other flavours have you got to try? I've got Tobacco, Coffee, Tuti Fruti, Cola and Spearmint. Only the coffee tastes good but the other may taste better to me when I get a chance to give them another try. I've only been vaping for about a week. I still smoke analogues though. I have not cut down on them at all. A week ago, I ordered a whole bunch of flavors from Vaporite and I can't wait to try them. Most of the juices I ordered from Vaporite have nic in them and most of the juices they make are 100% VG.

Hello & welcome Wispy I new here too and it's great reading all the replies you've got. The Riva 510 has been well recommended here but I haven't a clue what it is.,,,I'm about to check it out though. I have a Joye Ego and use low resistance cartomizers and that's working fine for me.
