Picked up my new shark dna30 from the post office today was so excited as I've been after one for a long time but they have been just too expensive (for me) anyway Redjuice had an offer on that I couldn't resist especially when pished on holiday in sunny Tenerife (sorry for the confusion toots ). Anyway unwrapped it and it was completely dead, soooo disappointed, tried all the button combinations, nothing, so I got home and emailed the vendor and put it on charge, after about an hour it has come to life so the battery must have been completely flat which I'm not used to as batteries/devices usually come charged and my understanding is that the batteries do not like being sat discharged. Is it likely that the battery will be compromised or is it a case of suck it and see and has anyone any experience of changing the battery in one if by chance it gets outside the warranty period then dies. Also anyone know where to get skins for the DNA30 from or is fleabay my best bet? |

Tbh VapingBad I'm chuffed to bits with myself, never thought the thing would work and now I know what the fuss is about with genuine DNA devices they are smooth, can I ask about the box in the earlier picture is it one you made? |

You'll find your best purchase is that 3rd hand I couldn't have soldered the chip without one and the big magnifying glass comes in really handy if your eyesight is like mine cos those terminals on the chip are seriously close together, as I told phtumshk earlier the first time I tried I soldered the + and - battery connections together  |

Agree with perps and rosco I couldn't get on with the subtank but now do a cross between mouth to lung and then lung inhales and love them now.
