How do people fill cartos? I fill the condom bit up and push the carto down into it (using the threaded end). Wouldn't mind knowing a less juice wastage method. I fill mine this way too and then keep topping up from the same condom bit so not much wasteage. I believe the Griz Whiz sold by Jason @ VE is a more effective way of getting juice in and out of cartos but have yet to use one myself. I also got some spiky refiller bottles from Cig-eliquid today which are great for refilling cartos

Ok, if its just being pushed in then just push out a bit again with a paperclip or similiar when you top up or push almost all the way in, found it still works fine this way too.
I've debridged 510's a few times, not tried on a 901 yet but assume it can be done the same way, might give it a go over the weekend and post back...

Cool, if & when you do get them i'd suggest you watch the related youtube clip on the UK Eliquid, I found the tips helped alot in getting the best out of em. ive been away for a few days and arrived back today to find the pump carts waiting to be used. i watched the tips video ref the sucking to prime issue and its going quite well. to be honest its much like using a normal cart without the faffing about keep re-filling the cart. it does seem to use more juice but i could be wrong about that. the only possible issue is the HC lr901s having such a high bridge/wick it does make contact with the small hole that drips the juice, everything is fine at the minute but it will maybe make the hole bigger and cause issues. but at the minute it is very nice to use. thanks scarface for pointing these out to me. raggy.............. Glad you're enjoying the pump carts & finding them less hassle than carts. Re the bridge making contact, shouldn't be a problem as long as the filler material isn't snagging and being pulled out. If it is then try pushing it onto the attie rather than screwing it on or don't push it all the way in, see how that goes.

thanks scarface and clutter for the kind offers, im going to turn it down but really appreciate the offers but i think im going to try the pumps then maybe the shields. ive got to get these attys used up and ive got around 35ish plus some 510 LRs to use some from EM and the rest from HC. i will likely skip this HC order and hopefully there will be another in a couple of months. one quick thing would these pumps fit the HC 901s fairly tight?. also is there any benefit in the colours of these pumps, id prefer clear but thought id read some were less robust than others. raggy Thats cool, The pump carts I have are a good fit on the HC 901's I have, tight but not overly so whereas on they are very tight on my 510's. As for the colour, I've only come across blue and black but its a smokey effect so the liquid is still visible if thats why you wanted clear. Although I've had no leaks using the pump carts I'm interested in the Empire drip shield more for appearance than anything so will have to find out where the group buy is upto

Is a pump cart just for mods? I'm having a noob moment and trying to decipher what your all saying :/ Natzx A pump cart is effectively a tank cartridge with a pump mechanism added to use on 510 and 901 (possibly other) atomizers. Replaces the standard carts and is an alternative way to direct drip.

Have you considered using pump carts Raggy? I've started these with all my 510 & 901 atties, much less faff than carts and dripping, great for when you're out too. Hold about 1.25 -1.5ml, cheap and you can get several uses from each one. Slight downsides I would say are that they do add more length (not always a good thing ;-) )to the atty than carts and the pump action takes a bit of getting used to but once you've sussed it then you'll never go back to carts. thanks again scarface, ive not seen these who sells them? i seem to be falling further and further behind on all the ecig gadgets now. raggy. UK Eliquid & Ecigwizard are two vendors I know of who sell them, there may now be others too am not sure. In case you aren't aware both have discount codes you'll find in the discount codes section on the forum. Lol, I know what you mean. Just when you think you've figured out whats what then a whole load of new gear comes along. I guess the current craze is around the various types of cartomizers around with atties waning in popularity. So the pump carts don't appeal to many and have fallen under the radar a bit. But do give them a go since you do use 901's, i've got one on the go on a 901 and another on a debridged 510, both vaping great.

No idea if this could work on an eliquid bottle with a sealed cap but I know students used a trick to sneak alcohol into places they only allowed non alcoholic drinks.
They'd take a water or soft drinks bottle with a sealed cap, submerge the cap into boiling water for a little while and that made the cap expand allowing you to slide it off and screw and refill the bottle with something else LOL!
As i say no idea if this would work but worth a try if you have some sealed bottles around. Wouldn't leave it in for too long as the heat might alter the eliquid inside.
