OK, but I still don't know how much to get! I've ordered 200ml of nic. Based on that, how much PG and VG should I be buying?

How many ml of PG and VG would you suggest buying when I have 200ml of nic on order?

If I'm hoping to make those recipes of yours mentioned above Super-Shiny, how many bottles of custard and graham cracker should I get? I presume you are only going to make samples as you might not like them i would say just 10ml of each (not much choice anyway and you don't need much anyway).....but the Capella Custard you can increase that to more as it is a very highly used concentrate and requires quite a lot. Just don't forget to get some Perfumers Sweetener, it's the secret of all mixes Perfumer's Sweetener is on the list already, but might add another one just to be sure. Does that do the same as Stevia or is it totally different? Haven't added Stevia to the list and wasn't sure if I'd really needed to.

Will find the syringe and needle link you posted in another thread and add those to the OP in a few because we definitely don't have enough based on your numbers. Cheers!

Who wants to help us burn a hole in our cards? Hi all. I've spent the past two days trying to soak up everything I can around the forum to do with mixing and the equipment needed. I've got a bunch of tabs open in my browser with items sitting in carts just waiting to be bought, but want to clear it with the pros first. If I'm missing anything or have items on the list that aren't really needed, give a shout and I'll amend the OP. 100ml PG 72mg nic base - vapersemporium SANTA25 for 25% off 100ml PG - flavourart UKV10 for 10% off 100ml VG - flavourart UKV10 for 10% off Mixing Set (syringes, needles, etc) - ltecigs LT10 for 10% off (10) 3ml Pipettes - ebay (50) 10ml dropper bottles - ebay Flavour Concentrates - 28vapes AAEC10OFF for 10% off Flavour Concentrates - cupcake world I've not listed off every concentrate in the shopping cart, but I've basically got at least one of everything needed to make a few of Rom's recipes. Going to try making his Banoffee Pie, Apple Pie and Custard & Rhubarb and Custard. I've got 3 bottles of Capella's vanilla custard on the list and 2 of Flavour West Graham Cracker as well as the rest of the ingredients. Couldn't get the Ethyl Maltol on 28vapes, so will have to work on hunting that down next. I think that's it. If I'm missing anything or you think I could do with more or less of something already mentioned, please give a shout. I'll amend the OP to keep it easy for Pep and I as well as anyone else looking to start this week. Did my best to make sure we were getting decent prices, but let me know if a trick was missed in that regard too.

You have no idea how hard I tried to fit that drip tip on top of the transit cover! Even managed to crack off some of base of the drip tip with all my efforts. Ah well, live and learn...eventually.

Oh good grief! Been so busy reading up on mixing juices, I didn't think to check the site's instructions for these. Yep...all works great now. Thanks everyone helping with such a silly question. Am genuinely sat here giggling mad and the dogs are wondering what's up. What a goof!

Sigh. The Bauway LR Bridged landed this morning and I'm not having any luck with it. Screwed the first one in only to spot a crack in the bottom of it. The other two are crack free and I'm careful not to tighten them in, so no idea how the first one got that way. Can't even get the drip tip that came with it to fit over the top of any of them either. Any tips or tricks to sort this or will I be sending them back?

Cheers Super-Shiny I'd read the first two threads but hadn't seen that third one yet. Had a quick glance and blimey, it's a long one! Must finish cooking the dinner, run 5k, shower & eat. I'll get stuck in to Grizwald's thread this evening once I've that other stuff done and dusted. The main goal is to understand as much as I can before clicking the buy button anywhere and you all have been a huge help. Much appreciated!

Don't click 'buy' just yet Pepperty! Turns out I'd the price for 50ml of the VG nic and not 100ml. It's actually dearer for the 100ml VG nic than it is the PG nic. Going to do some more research and will come back to ya. I'm feeling more confident about a goodly portion of it now after reading so many threads around here today. That said, lots more to learn before jumping in. If you were stuck on a deserted island with only 5 flavours of concentrate for mixing, what would your top 5 be? And is there a thread hiding on the forum where more experienced mixers have already had that discussion so I can save you repeating yourselves?

Is it just a case of entering the nic type (VG or PG 72mg), 18mg strength I'd like to reach in the end, PG/VG percent I'd like as well as flavours and the calculator works out the amounts to get there regardless of which nic base I buy? Essentially yes newdawn . . . the calculator does all the work for you. Remembering that the vast majority of flavourings will be suspended in PG when you make the calculation. Excellent. And no variation in quality between those two types of nic base I linked at the start? Don't want to get mediocre stuff starting out and wasn't sure if nic base varies like custard flavours and the like vary.

OK, so 72mg makes most sense because you get more bang for your buck than 54mg. But what about PG nic vs VG nic? I want to start mixing juice 50/50 or 60/40 at first. Is it just a case of entering the nic type (VG or PG 72mg), 18mg strength I'd like to reach in the end, PG/VG percent I'd like as well as flavours and the calculator works out the amounts to get there regardless of which nic base I buy? Really do appreciate your help and apologies for all the basic questions. Don't worry Pepperty, we'll get there eventually and it'll all seem so simple in a couple of weeks...probably.
