Well, I don't know what happened, but my third attempt at using one of the V2's gave me a total of 19 3/4hrs vaping!! Quite a lot better than the measly 8 hours I'd been getting from both of them. I'm on the second V2 right now to see if that one will last as long too. I have 3 chargers so I'm not sure if using a different one made the difference, because I didn't note which one it was - but the charging is working as normal on my original charger I bought with my first Ego batteries, and the first battery has now been charging for 5 hours with no charging problems at all so far. Fingers crossed for the second battery.

Well, the second V2 went blue after just 3 1/2 hours so I imagine it will last less than 9 hours, same as the first one. I'm glad I had 2 so I could compare both of them. Think I'll have to return them and buy the original Spinners. It's crazy that an upgraded battery with more power is giving me less time than my old Spinners.
UPDATE. Second V2 Spinner lasted as follows:
White light to blue light - 3hrs 30mins Blue light to orange - 3hrs 15mins Orange to dead - 1hr 20mins
Total time = 8 hours and 5 minutes!!
That's 2 brand new V2 Spinners giving just over 8 hours total vaping time each, much much worse than brand new 1300 Spinners.
The first one's had a full 5-hour charge, so will try that once more to see if a full charge did anything, but if not, both are going back. Such a shame because I love them otherwise, The button is so much better and more firm, and I love the 'fixed' dial at the bottom. What a bummer.

If they are brand new don't they new a few full, dead to full, charge cycles to reach max? Having said that, mine rarely lasts more then a day and I was getting that from an old ego t! Have kept mine but aren't over impressed with the battery life, I must admit. I don't think they need to go through dead to full charging cycles to reach maximum potential. My original Spinners lasted all day from the beginning, and by all day, I mean at least 12 hours of heavy vaping. This is the first Spinner I've had that's got a short battery life from the off, and yet it's an extra 300mAh.

Just to chime in here. I bought 2 Spinners V2 (arrived yesterday). Both were already fully charged, but I'd read about charging issues, so I took them off the charger and put them back on, where they charged for a further hour, repeated again, but they wouldn't charge any more.
My first battery had a 2.2ohm coil and was set at 4.3v, exactly the same as my 1300 Spinners.
Battery life went like this:
White light to blue light > 3hrs 40mins Blue light to orange light > 3hrs 35mins Orange light to dead > 1hr 5mins
So, in total, the battery lasted 8hrs and 20mins - which is an hour less than a 7-month-old Vision Spinner 1300 that's been used regularly!
I've now started using the second V2, and if the battery life is the same as the first, they're both going back, and I'll buy 2 original Spinners instead. Very disappointed so far, as was not expecting less battery life than a battery I've been using for 7 months. One of the reasons I bought the V2's was for the extended battery life, not less!!
Will update later when the second V2 is flat.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I've had a negative experience with wize cigs too. Is there somewhere specific to post issues with vendors? Anyway, I ordered 2x Kanger T2's from them a couple of weeks ago. When they arrived, I saw they had a different atomiser fitting, but my main issue was that the wick started to disintegrate in my fingers when I removed the head. So the quality seemed suspect and as I had a bunch of T2 replacement coils that wouldn't fit the 'new' version of the Kanger T2, I decided to return them. One was still unopened, and the other was unused because as soon as I saw the wick start to fall apart, I put it back in the bag.
I called the vendor (within the 7-day cooling off period allowed under the DSRs) and they agreed to take them back. I packed them and paid to return them, and enclosed a note asking for my original outward delivery costs to be refunded (as permitted under the DSRs). They then emailed me to say that because the items weren't faulty and were described accurately, they did not have to refund my original postage costs. Well, that information is totally untrue and they're in direct breach of the DSRs, even though they said the Sales of Goods act states they can keep the postage (which it doesn't).
I emailed them with this information a few days ago, but they are ignoring any correspondence, so I have just emailed them again with this info straight from the Trading Standards website...
What has to be refunded?
"You have to refund any money paid in relation to the contract by, or on behalf, of the customer, to the person who made the payment. This includes the
full price of the goods deposit or prepayment made cost of delivery.
I've asked for a response within 48 hours and said if I do not receive one, I will issue a small claims to recover my outward delivery costs. Might seem extreme, but they're subject to trading laws and shouldn't be able to illegally withhold delivery costs when the law clearly states they must be refunded to the customer. Bear in mind I happily returned the items at my own cost and within 5 working days of receipt of the goods (plus I emailed them to let them know I was returning the goods), so I fulfilled my part of the 'contract' and they are now trying to get out of refunding my postage and emailing wrong information stating they don't have to refund it. Will update this if I get any news back from them!

Thanks for the help I think it might have been the coil? I changed it and it's now holding a charge. Being relatively new to this still, I have no idea why a coil might recreate a flat battery scenario, or if it's even possible, but the charge is fine again. If I'd had half a brain, I'd have taken the clearo off and tried the battery without it on, but I didn't think for a second it could have been that. I only changed it because I read somewhere that coils can cause a short? Anyhow, the firing button has become loose and rattly over the past few days so I'm going to send it back and get a non rattling one! I bought two Spinners from myepack, and one of them has a nice fairly solid button with no rattle at all, same as my Ego batteries. As the Spinners came to me with the box crushed and insert ripped, I'm wondering whether that might have affected the button, although it's only the one battery that's started rattling. Anyway, everyone here seems to think myepack is a great vendor who looks after his customers, so I'm just waiting on a return address to send it back to. Absolutely love the Spinners! Thanks everyone. Really great forum for newbies like me.

Hell crazyquilter and congrats!
I'm almost at 4 months without ciggies now, but it took me a good few weeks to adjust to all the fiddling about with battery cleaning, tipping and twirling, blowing out excess juice etc etc. As far as your battery staying red and not turning green when it's charging, I had that happen several times and discovered that if I unscrewed it a little, it would eventually turn green. It doesn't need to be screwed on really tight. I just put it on finger tight or when the battery starts flashing to let me know it's connected.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Unfortunately, one of my Spinners (29 days old today!) seems to have died. It was fully charged last night and I started using it this morning about 11am and it has just flashed and shut down after a little over 3 hours. I wasn't even using it on its own. I was rotating it with one of my Ego batteries.
My chargers are fine and are charging my other batteries without any issues. My second Spinner is charging right now. I know myepack said I have a 30-day warranty so I've literally just made it with only one day to spare, but I'm concerned my other one is going to die in the near future too if it's from the same batch. I've been using them with a 2.5ohm coil set at 4V and making sure I clean the threads etc before charging. I maintain my gear obsessively so have no idea why one of my Spinners has died so fast. Any advice? I've emailed myepack but don't expect a reply till tomorrow as it's the weekend.
Last thing is that I don't wait for my batteries to die before I charge them. I use one of my Spinners one day, rotating with a fixed Ego 1300mAh. Before I go to bed, I put my clearos on the freshly charged batteries ready for the next day and then charge up the other ones when I get up, so none of my batteries gets a chance to completely die before a recharge.

Thanks very much richo71. My batteries look like the one in the pic you supplied. So when the vendor said they were from EGO, am I correct in thinking that was wrong information? Vision is not EGO? Thanks again. I feel a bit safer about giving one of these to my daughter now!

Hi all. Some advice please. I ordered 2x Vision Spinners from myepack last week using guaranteed next day special delivery. They turned up in a Jiffy bag 8x the size of the tiny box inside and the box had been dented and the plastic insert (holding the batteries) had been ripped to shreds. As the inner box must have been slipping and sliding around inside the oversized Jiffy bag, I was concerned they might have been dropped (causing the box to dent and insert to rip). I rang myepack and was told that if the batteries worked, then they should be fine. They do work, but I was concerned about any possible future damage due to the terrible packaging. Has anyone dropped these things and managed to still use them weeks later? Just looking for some reassurance. Also, when the vendor said the little boxes were how they shipped from China, I asked him if the batteries were from Fasttech (as I really didn't want to get anything from there because of the reviews I've read about lack of quality control, and one of these batteries is for my daughter). The vendor said they weren't from Fasttech - they were from EGO. But I was under the impression Ego wasn't a company, but just a 'style' of battery? Sorry for all the questions, but I've only been vaping a couple of months and am not sure about a lot of things. Obviously, with things like batteries, I want to be very careful and not own anything that might have come from somewhere (Fasttech for example) that has a history of things breaking down very fast or safety issues, especially regarding my daughter! I can't find an EGO store, so if the batteries came from EGO and not fasttech, can someone please point me to the EGO site because I can't find one. Like I said, I was under the impression that EGO is not a brand, but just a style of battery, but maybe I've got that wrong. Thanks for any help
