Yes, I tried cutting the tip on bottle, but will try to cut lower down!
Tried Boots today for a syringe but they had none, so will try one of the links you have kindly posted.

Thank you all so much for the links and advice. I've just surfaced for a short time, having been laid low with a migraine all day. So I'll be back to look at links etc., when I'm feeling more with it!!

When I bought my evod, I also bought a couple of bottles of juice from Myepack. It seems to be taking forever to fill though as the bottles aren't very flexible.
I've read that some people use syringes. Would that be any quicker?

What a numpty I am!! Evods arrived. Half read the instructions. Followed super-shiny's advice and soaked all parts and thoroughly dried. Batteries came already charged. Filled with juice, tried them out with finger on button and no vape - mouth full of juice. Tried one of the others, same thing. Took it to pieces - with juice going all over the place..... Re-looked at instructions and one of the last paras says to press the button 5 times to turn on - duh!!!!!! I'd read that somewhere already - but didn't realise it applied to my batteries too. So, tomorrow/later, I'll really give them a go.

Hi Karma, Thanks for the suggestion. I think I'll try and get hold of a lanyard to give that a try first since they are a lot cheaper.

You should be fine, I use either an iPhone, blackberry or HTC USB wall plug to charge my ego batteries and I haven't fried anything yet! Thank you - that's reassuring!!

Hi. Just another question, does anyone know where I can order this gear online using a debit card? Myepack only accepts a service that I've never even heard of, & I don't use paypal since my account got hacked a few years back. Cheers. Hi I too was confused when I went to pay on myepack as hadn't come across sagepay before. Just follow the page through and you will then be asked to enter your debit/credit card details. It came up as a secure site.

Oh dear - sorry - another question!!
Will it be o.k. to use the usb charger for the evod in the existing 3 pin plugs/adaptor I have? I have one used with kindle and one with Samsung note. I don't want to risk it catching fire!
TIA

Thanks for the welcome & advice everyone. A Post Office near to me sells juice & a starter kit (£14.99) with the brand name flavaaah. I don't know if flavaaah are any good. I think I may try this out as a starter: myepack.co.uk/kits/mini-protank-2-kit-black.html (on sale too, & I do like a bargain). I'm just going to check out the codes area on this site to see if I can get it even cheaper. Again, thanks for the help everyone, it's appreciated. Myepack don't have a discount code - I gather from others it's due to their v. reasonable prices. I bought a couple of their juices to start me off and also a few sample sizes from joosejuice. They do have a discount code but it can't be used for the samples.

Hi and welcome. I too am a newbie so, like you, came here for advice and received some excellent advice and suggestions. I ordered the evod from myepack yesterday . Back in 2008 I tried the e-cigs and in those days there was v. limited choice - basically just units with cartridges. I lapsed I'm afraid and think it was probably due to them not being satisfying my needs enough. I was a 15-20 a day smoker then, but unfortunately crept up since then. Having come back here a few days ago I was absolutely dumbstruck to find how things have moved on since those days and all the options now available. So I'm more hopeful and determined this time, if only to start with just cutting down on cigarettes. I obviously can't comment on the efficiency of the one in your link, but as it's soooooo cheap, I would be also be concerned about the quality of the actual charger e.g. cheap import. I don't know if it's happened with e-cigs/vapours, but I've read some horror stories elsewhere about people buying cheap and then the chargers exploding/catching fire and destroying laptops etc!! So, if you can increase your budget, I would follow the advice of the others here!!

Oh, dear still deliberating about the V1. Since I smoke in the car when going solo, wondering if I should get that kit as well as the evod, as it can be held more easily or is that just wasting money?! I guess only you can decide if it is a waste of money. IF you buy something like an evod or mini PT kit, it's possible you won't use the V1 at all. In honesty, if you spoil yourself with something "good" then an entry-level product will leave you disappointed. I use my "premium kit" in the car, one of the pleasures of driving. Thanks djs. I decided to stick with just the evod.

Aha, thanks snow. Your second link doesn't work, but I'll have a look around e.g. on Amazon. Yet another question!!! Do you know if the ego cases on Myepack site are right size/suitable for the evod?
