I re-coil once a week just cos i like doing it and re-wick with cotton every 2-3 days, the re-coil now takes me about 15 mins all in, the re-wick about 5 mins.
The coil would prob be fine for 4x that with just a dry burn once each time i re-wick, but like i say...i like doing it.

I agree, i have 2 protanks, 3 iclear30s and 2 iclear16s sitting in a draw that i once loved, i will prob never touch them again. My Kayfun is better, much better, never leaks, never has a dry hit, never gurgles and is very easy to re-coil and re-wick. Im getting the new Russian next week and cant wait! Yes, I think we will be buying that too. Mr Dolly is more than a tad envious after trying mine. Seeing as he will be doing all the coiling etc, he deserves one of his own. Where are you buying yours from? Getting mine from Mods and attys- 40 quid. www.modsandatties.com/en/home/35-the-russian-91-v2-plus.html

Cheers chaps for the info, the KY4 is blended using their premium tobacco juice, i have some of that too and its lovely and i get no burnt taste at 12w in the same kayfun and 1.3 coil.
Could be a iffy bottle of juice? i have 3 10ml bottles, i will switch to a different bottle and try that.

I would of thought so too, but this was a fresh wick and after a dry burn of the coil.

Got some KY4 (Vermillion River) from Ecigwizard last Thursday and got to try it tonight and im having a weird problem, i usually vape at around 10-12 watts but if im at that with the KY4 i get a burnt taste, i have to turn it down to 7-8 to stop the burning and even then take much shorter draws. Anything more than 2-3 seconds and the funny taste is back. This is vaping on both my nemesis and SVD, the juice is in a Kayfun with a 1.3 ohm micro+cotton, any other juice is fine. Anyone else had this happen with a juice? The actual juice is very very nice, one of my new favs. ----------Solved---------- Rechecked my coil for the 3rd time, again everything looked fine, decided to re-wick anyway and after pulling the cotton that looked ok, i found a small burnt line in the middle of the wick that would of sat in the middle of the coil. when i first test fired i it couldn't of had enough juice right in the middle and made a small burnt patch. Re-wicked with cotton and all is fine and dandy.

Been using it since friday night and i love it, works great and i think just looks fantastic. Its a finger print magnet, but to be honest i think i like the patina look better than when its polished up.

Dolly .. I also have the eHpro kayfun 3.1 es clone from Modsandatties and it is whistle free with the air adjustment screw fitted .... it just seems to be the Russian 91% that likes to whistle. Snap, i also have the 3.1 clone from modsandatties as well as the Nemisis clone, match made in heaven to me. And it doesnt whistle Mine has a grub screw as the fill hole, so a T-juice bottle filled with your favourite juice fits it perfectly World of Tanks eh? I play too!
