Well this is a subject I can chime in on. Hi to anyone who remembers me, I haven't been here for a long time but this place was a great help to me when I started out. I dropped out of the vaping world but continued vaping because I found what I need. A VAMO, a SID and lots of juice I liked. I was done 'exploring'. The VAMO finally blew up, the button on the SID stopped working, so now I have an istick 60 which I love and a Kanger Subox thing sort of a set that came with a Subtank nano which I also love. Two great mods and a great tank. I also bought a Subtank mini and I love that too though I prefer the nano for flavour. So I'm glad I jumped back into the whole thing but now I have done that I will buy an Evic mini as that looks like the kind of thing currently fashionable that also floats my boat then I am done again. I am posting this to answer the OP and also for the benefit of Catface who I believe will eventually understand that the best vaping equipment is the stuff that does EXACTLY what you want it to and steps you out of the whole 'I need the next best thing' scene. I know already from his posts that he will disagree but I thought I would put it out there. Finding a juice I can vape for a long time has always been much, much harder than finding equipment that gives me a good vape, just my thoughts on it all. Hope you all had a great XMAS and are looking forward to a great new year. Silent. Indeed, the denial is strong

Thanks Greg I 'may' have played with the voltage too. Is there a level I should be setting it at? It's hard to say what setting to set your voltage at without knowing the resistance of your atty coil. And that's the beauty of watts mode, it doesn't matter (within reason) what your atty resistance is when in watts mode but it does in voltage mode. if you know your atty resistance I can tell you how to work out what voltage to use using ohms law, but if you put it in watts mode there's no working out required oh and and you can only set volts or watts deepening on the mode your in, you can't set both.

www.fasttech.com/products/3032/10012619/2232102 - a nice shiney silver istick clone (I know you like silver ) £12.97 for the full kit inc charging lead. They are under a tenner without a lead but you'll need the lead for the first one. I have received my goodies today but am confused with what to do. What do the different wattages do? Also it says I can change the voltage and the output wattage - what difference would that make If it's the iStick forget voltage mode and put it in wattage mode. Start low at say 7 or 8 watts and sed how you go, you can increase wattage slowly if you feel the need. To switch from voltage to wattage mode or vic versa, 3 quick clicks of the fire button

The other advantage of the mini over the nano is the mini comes with an RBA deck so should you choose to rebuild in the future you can have a go

Yeah i have some enhancers / sours etc. I shall get me some supplys =) Is it best to keep the concentrates chilled as well? And when u say freezer do u mean actually freeze the nicotine ? Yes freeze the nic, preferably in glass bottles. It won't actually freeze but will will thicken up considerably i just just keep concs in a cool dark place rather than chilling but chilling is fine if you prefer.

WHen you mature a bit, you may find that you are able to decide what floats your boat. For me, it's a mouth to lung atomizer, and no more than 30W. So I've got 3 mods capable of 40W, and about 5 tanks. For the foreseeable, I'm done. Unless they invent a mod which has a nuclear fuel cell Referring to me there? I'm 30 with a mortgage and a baby. If I'm not mature by now I don't think I ever will be. Anyway it isn't about maturity. For the price of a couple of packets of fags you can buy a new piece of technology. And every time I've done this so far it has improved my vaping experience. Just having a laugh mate, don't take everything so literal. Buy what you want, most of us have been there, I certainly have. And as magpies go im right up there, I part with nothing

Good old shinyitus In my case it isn't this and I can prove it to you. Every time I've bought some new kit I haven't gone back to the old stuff. It's always been an upgrade in my eyes. Ten Motives cig-a-like > Ego-T > 20w istick and Nautilus > 20w istick and sub tank nano > 30w istick and sub tank nano > 30w istick and sub tank mini > 50w Sigelei and sub tank mini > Mechs and drippers > 50w Sigelei and Bellus > 75w Evic VTC Mini and Bellus That's as far as I've got so far and each increment has been an upgrade that has improved my vaping experience. Mechs and drippers are kind of a different story as although it is still the most superior method of vaping in terms of raw performance, the practicality of it means I usually only use this kind of kit in the evening. At this point I may well use a mixture of kit as I have an Aromamizer and a Smok TFV4 to collect from the post office but up until this point all of my old kit is redundant. That's Classic shinyitus im afraid mate

Only variations on the same theme. And marketing. It really isn't. All of those factors make a difference. And look at other things that are happening like the new Target 75 VTC kit. Which has a porous ceramic wick with the coil embedded inside. Supposedly the flavour is incredible. These things wouldn't happen if everyone never got any further than a Nautilus or Ego-T. Every other technology on the planet benefits from innovation so why should vaping be any different? No one is forcing anyone to do anything they don't want to here but if you were driving around in an Austin Maestro and someone offered you a go in a Tesla sports car, would you decline on the basis that your old car was still perfectly serviceable? Good old shinyitus
