Its got to be more satisfying than using a brush? Does it penetrate the wall the same as using a brush greg? Not initially but with practice it does, as I said I was just getting the knack when I ran out of paint. you need the right spray tip size, the correct pressure for that tip and the correct rate of application. It's not as simple as it looks on YouTube but those guys have been doing it years and doing it day in day out. If i didn't have so much to do I've have stuck with the brush, it's are really coarse finish and the stone chips are really angular so even with a brush you have to lump the paint on thick and really work it into the nooks and crannies. if the walls were covered in anything different that you can possibly cover a wall in it would be easier to paint with any method ill get there though and it'll be worth it when done.

Having experienced the utter frustration of using a 4" Masonry Brush only yesterday, I approve of this project. I got more paint on myself than the wall. Next time, a Walter White suit is in order. Good luck! That's exactly how I got to this stage, if you look at page one of this thread and all the pics of the front of the house, I did all that with a 4" brush and it took weeks and weeks and weeks. whilst there's a fair bit of cutting in at the front of the house due to all the facing bricks the actually quite a small volume of wall painted when compared or the sides and back which has no facing bricks and is 95% wall to be painted.

So another 20 litres of paint collected today, should have the garage completed next weekend if the weather plays the game. Then I'll only have one side of the house to do and all the back of the house. Hoping to get it all finished in the next month or so. Next up window frames outside although that'll likely have to wait until next year. The gable end looks a little patchy but the photo was taken when wet, now it's dry it looks spot on, I still have a bit of cutting in to do on the Corner facing bricks. And the back of the garage, now this is patchy but less so now dry, another light coat at the weekend should sort it. Just this back to finish then the other fable end to do, then paint all the soffits black hence not bothering to mask them as I'll paint over the oversparay with the black

Well I'm up and running, quite a learning curve so I started on the blind side of the garage. Took a while to get it all sorted and an age to clean and preserve once finished. I was just thinking I'm starting to get the hang of this when I ran out of paint. Definitely speeds things up although it's a little patchy at the top. I'll persevere though, practice makes perfect and all that

I'm not going to ask. Whatever you are thinking, I wish you luck. It will involve lots of masonary paint.

Hi Greg These are not the ones that fit on the SD. SD cartos have no hole/slot in them. Ah I thought that might be the case, I was never a Carto expert oh well, as you were
