Okay, just sampling the Gold and Silver right now - very nice and quite smooth is my first impression.

I notice the instruction manual mentions not pressing the manual switch for more than 5 secs, at the moment I'm just counting up to 5 as I press it - how careful should I be with this?

One of the first kits I bought was an e-lite set. Worked OK, but the battery performance soon dropped off and then they stopped charging.

Yeah the e-lights are okay IMHO but now I'm starting to learn more I can see why they're not rated as high as some of the other kit that's available, I'll see how long the battery lasts!

In 2 days I've gone through one of their "E-Tips" which either means I'm 'smoking' more than usual, 20 normally but they claim each E-Tip is the equivalent of 40 ciggies, or they overestimate the number of puffs you can get out of the tips. Mind you I'm finding the most effective way to use them is to puff before inhaling so the puffing might make them wear out quicker.

A Riva or eGo battery is much better. I've been using the same two eGo batteries since the beginning of May. Still going strong.

I'm looking forward to tring the Riva

I still use my riva when I go out for the evening. It never seems to look out of place wherever I take it as opposed to the big battery mod I use the rest of the time which makes me look like a crack junkie lol. The riva is the one I would recomend as others have hinted towards. It's versatile and interchangeable with most 510 systems so it gives you a good cheap base to try all the gadgets and systems on until you find the set up that works for you. And the battery life is very good.

I was figuring 10ml would be best for sampling just in case I don't particularly like a 'flavour' and I've just realised my confusion over sizes was because I was reading mg as ml - dumb huh, lol!
