More money bluemagnum lol, I may well try one but will stick with what I know at the moment - I think this is more about tastes changing but whether that's because my actual taste buds are changing or because something else is changing the case the jury is out but I'm starting to suspect it's my taste buds ... the one confusing thing about that though is the 666 tasting a bid odd because usually people seem to like that one despite going off the tobacco tastes. As you can see I'm a little puzzled here but time will tell as always!

bluemagnum, I got the blue from paradisevape UK and I'm using a standard 510 atomiser on the Riva.
However as I say above I'm a bit confused lol so hang fire on what I said and I'll see how the tastes develop over the next 24/48 hours - kinda weird this but perhaps others have experienced the taste thing?

Hmmm, this is confusing so hang fire on my hissy fit above ... have just tried using drip tips and the 666 doesn't taste so good but some of the other samples I had that tasted 'okay' before seem much better than before - could this have something to do with my taste buds being in the process of changing? Really weird this but I'm going to have to continue dripping and trying as and when and see what's happening, as I say weird (and somewhet confusing)!

bluemagnum, I'm getting it even when I cut the stuff too short. I have cut a few pieces to different sizes and they're all tasting the same, I've washed it and I've soaked it in so much fluid the atomiser flooded and I still get the taste so I dunno but I'm not getting on with it (or it's not getting on with me). Perhaps it's me or perhaps it's a different batch to yours or sourced from a different place but nobody knows (that's why I mentioned there being no information on the site).
Anyway, experiments can only last so long and I'm giving up on it I'm afraid - maybe I am doing something wrong but 2 days in my short life vaping of putting up with a taste I don't want is enough for me ... sorry!

Have to admit Jemima that thought did cross my mind when I discovered the blue stuff was 'adding' an extra taste - have been wondering what the hell it was in it that created that taste and whether it was a chemical of some sort, not that it's unpleasant more like a perfume.
Given the lack of any information whatsoever on the site about the stuff (including size lol) it is a legitimate worry I feel despite the fact many people seem to get on with it fine. I may be completely wrong and it may just be my taste buds but frankly if it is okay the vendor should have information about what it is and where it is sourced on the site IMHO ... at least to put some minds to rest!

Nice one Foxy, that's impressive My own rather more modest anniversary is just at the 2 week mark now, not missing analogues one bit!

Haven't tried the menthol yet but I'm sure to at some point I've come to the conclusion it's the blue stuff that's flavouring the juice now, just won't go away unless I direct drip or use another filler in the atomiser. I'm pretty patient but I think for me that's it with that filler so if anyone can give me a recommendation as to where I might be able to get the standard stuff I'd be grateful. As for the blue if anyone wants it give me a shout or it'll go in the bin, I have 2 pieces (60p each) - have to say though the size is a 'tad' small which you wouldn't necessarily realise from the piccies on the site and, like many other products there, there's little or no info about what they are/size. Right, that's as close to a moan I'm gonna have so I'll get back to my usual happy positive ways

Actually come to think of it I'm finding all the usual tobacco tastes a bit harsh and slightly unsatisfying today (including the 666), I wonder if it's a sign I ought to move on to other flavours!?

Yeah Jason you're right, direct dripping saved me yesterday ... drip tip thanks to your good self Chrissie, I think I put too much foam in the cart the first time for sure, second time I think too little and I ended up flooding the atomiser and getting juice in my mouth ... next time hopefully I'll get it ... or just keep trying! I have found that I was getting a slightly 'perfumy'/fragranced background taste since starting the foam too, not unpleasant but certainly spoiling the taste of the juice slightly - not sure if this is the foam itself or another change in my taste buds, I did drip some and it the new flavour cleared but then was back when using the foam again. I washed the foam out and it seemed to decrease but then I had the hassle with the atomiser flooding so too early to tell. If it is the foam I think I'll be looking around for an alternative but we'll see!

Hi Jemima, yeah I guess I am enjoying it quite a lot really but I think I'm geeky enough to put up with all the general faffing around and enjoy it but there have been a few setbacks too. At the moment for example I'm trying some of the much recommended blue foam in one of my carts and I just can't get it right, I'm either ending up flooding the atomiser and battery or having little flavour and it seems to have changed the taste of my favourite juice too - quite frustrating but I'm managing to walk away and leave it for a while and go back to it and try it again (so far not entirely successfully) so I live in hope. Today my Riva just doesn't seem to doing it for me, probably partly due to the blue foam issue, so I'm mostly using the small Titan Tanks instead which are cool. The other day when I first used them though the Titans were p*ssing me off something terrible lol, and they're still drinking juice quite heavily, so I'm just taking it day by day and enjoying the rollercoaster. I'm glad I have a couple of options in terms of equipment though, I think if I just had the one type of e-cig I'd get really hacked off - perhaps there's a lesson there? I get the impression from reading around here that these sorts of frustrations are quite normal and they'll mostly pass as I get more experienced so I'm happy to keep on playing around with it all and am pleased not to be needing any analogues too!

Yeah Crissie, it was good although I have to admit I drunk rather more than I ought to and vaped so much I didn't have a single puff yesterday! Jemima, I reckon I'm vaping more than I used to smoke, that's the danger when the guilt and health worries are removed I guess ... I'm not complaining though!

LOL, seems like the thread is getting on very well without me! Hi Jemima and BakingHappy (have I missed anyone out?) sounds like you're doing well and Jemima you have cart blanche to shop, shop, shop I'm still at the testing stage myself and am still learning stuff, see my latest 'discoveries' here.

Had my first 'night on the town' the night before last and came home having learnt a few lessons. I took a 510 Titan Tank with 2 spare batteries, one 340mAh and one 220, and 3 filled tanks as well as a PCC to charge the 220 battery back up as well as back up kit in the form of my Riva 1100. The idea with the Titan is to have something a little more portable and pocketable to use when out and hopefully be a little more discreet. I think it fulfilled this role although So some things I learnt: 1. It's great sitting having a drink and vaping, just as good if not better than smoking. 2. I haven't yet been brave enough to ask if I can vape indoors yet but when it's sunny and your mates are outside smoking you don't want to be indoors anyway. 3. I vaped a lot more than I would have smoked, basically I chain vaped! 4. People are quite curious and I got a few questions about what the hell I was 'puffing' on, particularly when I pulled the Riva out. 5. Tanks eat juice worse than a Hummer eats gas! 6. A PCC is absolutely vital but they only holds the 220 batteries and it takes time to recharge ... I think another 220 would be useful to be honest. 7. The 510 Titan is good but not great, you have to work a lot harder to get a good hit from it and to get anything even approaching the taste I get from the Riva, it's perfectly adequate for a few hours at the pub though. However a mate tried both and prefered the Titan because he found the Riva gave "too much" taste! 8. I needed my backup (Riva) so next time if just relying on the Titan I'd have to take more filled carts or I need to try something longer lasting like a cartomiser, I have to say I'm not overly impressed with the Tank on the Titan ... 9. You can't drip very well when you're very drunk and frankly you make an ass of yourself trying! 10. Don't sit on your e-ciggy case ... and certainly don't fall on it ... nuff said lol! 11. Hangovers (at least as I recall) are much worse if you've spent the evening smoking analogues! I hasten to add I'm more of a 1 or 2 pints social drinker rather than a heavy session drinker and didn't go out intending to drink loads but it was one of those evenings when one drink turned into 5 and 5 turned into ... well you know. Anyway it was interesting trying out the kit in these circumstances and I've certainly learnt a few things form the experience! Thanks for reading

^ Yup I think I need to try the whiskey cream sometime lol. Got a nice big (30ml) bottle of 666 from Jason this morning so that'll keep me happy for a wee while but hey gotta try some others too eh! BTW, Jason slipped in a little extra too (a drip tip) which is great and to any other newbies reading I can heartily recommend Jason's service, very quick delivery and some little surprises too - blooming brilliant!
