I agree they're usually way too expensive but was thinking I might have a look to see if there are any real bargains, not sure I know that there's anything worth buying on there though!

Thought I'd give a heads up on this: ------------------------------- Totally Wicked Yo Yo promotion
What goes up but then comes down, but may spin back up again only to fall much lower, where you are poised on the edge of your seat, watching the clock ticking against you, sweating and waiting for the best deal?
And this weekend will be a marathon session lasting from
Friday 11th November 12:00GMT to Monday14th November 12:00GMT -------------------------------
Looks like it'll be anything up to 40% off so might be worth a look.
Not sure what's worth buying off their site though!

That looks lovely - how do we go about ordering one?
Couple more questions:
Is the battery completely sealed or is it replaceable and what's the battery life?
Does £40 buy a complete kit including charger?

Thanks Jason, rest assured an order for these will wing it's way to you at some point in the near future Ian gave his two thumbs up on the kanger thread Perpy ...they have a clean board so far..although i did have a few probs wicking with grizwalds banoffee cream i quite like the sizzling bacon sound of the boges too... but kangers replace that with a warm vape in the mouth and a bigger hit I do like the sound of the warm vape and bigger hit

Yeah, I new what you meant rog, I was just explaining to chrissie. If you remove the battery and push the switch in then give it one quick and hard clockwise turn you'll find that it'll stay put nicely, I've never had a problem since using this method mate. I'll try that, thanks for the tip

Nice one Rog I stil have my saftey net, can't belive you beat me lol Ha! Well done. If it was unopened though, you should have sold it. Could have bought some e juice with the money! It was opened with only about half the tobacco left in it so I don't suppose worth much, would have been great if I had a whole stash of unopened packets lol!

Yes there's the little screw you adjust with a screwdriver to accommodate different sized batteries, have had no probs with that as such. What I was referring to was the entire base unit (the brass bit) which you can unscrew from the lower body (to clean it for example). I noticed at one point it wasn't making contact well when the button was pressed and then realised the problem wasn't that the screw needed adjusting it was rather that the entire brass housing had unscrewed slightly. A few turns of this with my hand and it was fine but it could lead some to think the small screw needed readjusting if they didn't realise the housing was loose.

The Kangers sound good guys, will deffo have to try them I guess I've got used to the bacon frying noise the Boges make but it strikes me that a quieter cart would be better for stealth vaping (which I do a fair amount of) so this would be a definite positive for me. I like the sound of the shorter draw and bigger kick too Jason! Are these the same size as the Boges and do they tend to last about the same length of time?

For the last week I've had my Don on mini mode and have to say I haven't missed the larger size and batteries at all, although of course I have them in reserve and can switch back any time I want. In fact I really love the mini Don for it's size and ease of use. I guess because I don't vape that much during the day the smaller batteries last me from morning until bed time and I can keep one on charge overnight for the following day so there's always a spare. Still at 800Mah they still have a decent amount of power in them so are hardly undersized. With this combination the Don becomes the perfect mod for dropping in a pocket and stealth vaping wherever you go, it's really a great little mod and I'm appreciating it all the more day by day for it's convenience and ease of use. One thing I would suggest though is make sure when you drop it in your pocket that you turn the button to the off position - have to admit I burnt out a Boge cart a few days ago when I forgot to do that I guess I really ought to try 5v batteries too but have to say the 3.7v ones I've tried so far (large and small) have been doing the job nicely but I certainly might be tempted once the promised VV attachment comes available. The only thing I guess that I'd highlight so far as a potential negative is the slight tendency for the brass button housing at the bottom of the Don to loosen itself over time and come unscrewed. Easy enough to sort that out by screwing it tightly back in (although because it's smooth it can be difficult to get a proper hold on it to screw it in as tightly as you might want) but if you didn't realise it was loosening you might think there was a problem with the button itself which isn't the case - just watch out for that one. Other that minute niggle it's all good especially with the 510 to 510 adaptor which makes connecting carts and whatever else you screw on nice and secure and allows for a good air flow at the screw end of the cart. I guess the slightly home made nature of the standard Don connection is another tiny negative but when it's easily fixed for a couple of quid I don't personally see it as a problem. I'll need to get some photos of my Don up sometime as I was asked to do ages ago but sufficce to say it's not much different from all the others you might have seen piccies of lol!

Right now I'm vaping on a trusty Boge LR cart having got heartily sick (at least for now) of the smokymizers. Have binned the second one after rubbish vaping for days, which was only relieved by going back to the Boges as an alternative then trying the smoky again but despite patience and perseverance it was a complete waste of time. The first was okay but now seems to be giving up the ghost, I guess faffing around with it and cleaning it might resuscitate it but am not in the mood right now. I still have 3 unopened so I guess I'll give them a go sometime but the seem hellishly unpredictable and all the faffing and wasted juice was a serious negative even when they work okay (which so far is less than 50% of the time. When they work they are great but a faff and when they don't work well (which seems to be most of the time) they're rubbish and still a faff! Bottom line is I won't be buying any more of these unless the next 3 work well and 100% of the time which based on experience so far I doubt ... oh and then there's the chance they might short my batteries out So, what to try next?

Well the Don is still going strong and I'm still enjoying it. I've now got myself some mini batteries in addition to the full sized ones and they're a great solution for times when you want it in your pocket, the Mini Don is so portable it's great and the rest of the time the full sized batteries are great. One thing I've added is a 510 to 510 adaptor, for some reason using the adaptor seems to make it vape better, maybe more airflow? rav, I hope when you've recovered from your vaping 'disaster' you can have a go
