So, the smokymizers - I'm now using the second one but the first settled down quite nicely actually giving good flavour and a nice clean hit. Filling became much easier too after I learnt a few tricks but still something of a faff. Anyway am on the second (cleaned out the first and may well go back to that one until it dies) and it's not as good, poor flavour and often cutting out when I vape - I guess it could be a dud and hopefully a one off dud at that (otherwise quality control is very poor and I'll think twice about ordering any more. Have been switching between a dual coil cart, Boge LRs and the smokymizers so I guess they're lasting a while because of that but at the moment mostly using the dual since the second Smoky just aint doing it for me!
Will see what the others have in store for me but no more duds please!

Hopefully a PG issue and it'll be sorted if you switch to VG ... lots of good advice above

Anyway, they all fit 510 atties and cars fine When I say cars I do, of course, mean carts - they'd be far too loose on cars

I've got 4 now, one metal and the rest plastic and I prefer the plastic I have to say.
Anyway, they all fit 510 atties and cars fine but I did have another plastic one that was a pretty tight fit and that one eventually snapped at the end where it pushes into the attie/cart.

LOL, glad you 'owned up' - was tempted to out you I have to admit To be honest even with Rav talking to me about the problems he was having I didn't realise what he was doing but hopefully it'll all go smoothly now - have also given him a Boge LR cart to try out and compare with the Giantomisers.

Well done on not having a leak, like me the first time!
I'm still in my first week of use (and the first one is still going strong) so am no great expert but I haven't had the issue you describe - could it just be a dodgy one?

They are but make sure you are sitting down cos they have quite a kick at 5v LOL, will do! Don't forget to post the pics of you in action with it Rog I'll try to remember to post a piccie Glad to hear you got it Rog. As has been said, whatever you decide to stick on it will work great. Great stuff, thanks for confirming that Jason. As Blakey & River have said, LR atties & cartos are more than fine with any 18650 3.7v batteries never tried them with 5v batteries myself though Does sound like you have got an attie with a dodgy thread there - I had a 901 like that a while back & the only thing it would screw onto properly was a GG 501-901 rethreader. Yeah I reckon it's a dodgy one, probably best to bin it! congrats on a great new mod Rog Thanks tyefighter, it's vaping well so far and I'm looking forward to trying different carts and batteries in it ... Did you get a 18350 for mini mode rog, they're very good for stealth vaping. I haven't actually but I think I'd better because I really fancy trying it in mini mode! Thanks for the comments guys

Thanks blakey and river, yes I was aware there might be a gap and not to overtighten but that one attie won't screw in very far at all - everything else goes right in no probs. Was very careful with it not to force it so no worries there. In fact have just tried it on a Riva and it won't screw into that either, must be a dodgy attie thread surely?
5v eh, sounds like fun - LRs okay with them too?

Got my Don today and very pleased to have it Have polished it up (sad eh!) and got the batteries on charge and can't wait to try it. The kit came with batteries, a charger, a nice chrome drip tip and atomiser which I immediately discovered didn't screw in properly - is that a known issue with Don threads? It's not that much of a problem because I probably won't use it much apart from for dripping occasionally. I'm presuming the issue is a dodgy atomiser to be honest because I've tried some old ones on and they fit fine as well as a smokymizer, a Boge cart and a dual coil cart. Anyone else had dodgy threads on atties like this? I guess a solution would be to get a 510 to 510 adaptor and see if that works but for the price of one atty not sure if I'll bother unless there is a known issue with Don threads with some 510 attachments. The batteries that came with it are IMR18650s (1400mAH, 3.7v) and the big question is what to attach to it once the batteries are charged, I'm presuming it's gonna be dodgy using and LR carts and atties so should I just stick with SR? In which case I guess the dual I have and the spare atties will be fine for now but not the LR Boges and Smokymizers or am I speaking complete tosh? Any other advice re The Don?

Okay, will have to be careful then.
If they are faulty will it happen when they're first used or can it happen any time?

What about Dons, are smokymizers liable to cause problems bearing in mind they're mechanical rather than full of circuitry? I'm presuming not but thought I'd check rather than risk it?

Excellent reply I'd say, well done I agree Foxy, there is loads of nonsense talked about e-cigs and I think some of it is deliberate on the part of some organisations (and individuals) who are so blinded by their hatred of analogues that they want to ban anything even related to it - they're crazy prohibitionists you might say! Personally I can see there might be a valid reasons for some pubs, cafes and the like being nervous about e-cigs in as far as analogue smokers might see the vape and think it's allright for them to light up. However in the workplace employers can educate their staff about vaping, after all they're not just walking in off the streets for a half hour and then disappearing again (like say pub clients) and, as tizerbelle said employers get more productivity from employees who vape instead of taking fag breaks. I'd bet vaping employees take less time off work for illness too given they're healthier so there's every reason for employers to be not just supportive of vaping but to encourage smoking employees to switch over, even if it's just in working hours!
