I also don't see the relevance made between idiotic people and the owners of the said units that have had "heat issues" as from the information available they've been experienced enough to use the correct battery. Apart from installing the correct battery and pushing the fire button what other idiotic thing can they do ? If yours is working with no issues, long may it continue but like Greg I was on a pre order and was fortunate enough to be able to cancel, but unfortunately some people already had the units, or had them in the post when the problem reared its ugly head. I would be willing to bet a large percentage of the owners of these units would have kicked them into touch for a refund or an alternative device if they'd had the chance. On a purely personal note, had I been unable to cancel mine, when it arrived it would have been junked. Why, when I was spoilt for choice in the market place, would I persevere using a device, that for safety reasons I would feel the need to remove the battery every time I went to the toilet or decided to go and make a cup of coffee ? For the sake of £20 I wouldn't give myself the grief. Wall of text2 hits you for 4934 damage

Well I'll disagree with you as well then striker42 I wasn't calling trusted members of this forum idiotic, merely pointing out that when majority of these "ecigs kill" stories are disected it is normally traced back to the users bad practices, in the case of the Cloupor this hasn't been proven yet (and judging by the stories I've read it DOES seem as though the company are at fault on at least a couple of the failures) but to keep going on & on about it.... how many other pieces of kit have had majour failures? I can think of a few, but this campaign by @zuza against an item that he neither owns nor has any first hand proof of failure reminds me of a similar effort by someone else to get a certain respected vendor on here discredited, except in that case the person involved had actually had dealings with the company, it strikes me that @zuzu seems to be picking a fight just for the sake of it, in this case with the wrong person. From my point of view, this is progress. It`s just part of the progression of ecigarettes. From dry burning cigalikes to the present day there have been many innovations in design and usage. After lots of use and a steep learning curve, this IS pretty faff free. The nature of the devices mean that we are learning how to use the mods. There isnt really anything out there to tell us how to use the protection efficiently. That is what the threads are about. But when it comes down to it, you dont like the threads, you dont read them along with all the other threads you dont want to take part in, what`s the problem? You dont have to buy them, you dont have to take part or read the threads. They really arent much more to buy than many other similar powered devices. It`s just one more setting on an ecig and it IS progress. The threads and hype about them has been from trying to understand them and LEARN. They are not easy things to understand and we are ALL learning, forgive me and others from trying to help with that, that has been my only motivation with what I have written. Just ignore it, what`s the problem But you have a Chinese designed board that's why.....I have just put my lazy atty on my chinaflask (kanger mega with kanger pre made temp coils) it has just read the coil as .18......im ******* amazed, that's is the a ohms I purchased and as stated on the side of the pack. I'm on my second pack, so done about 7 coils and my vapour shark has never read below .2......... go buy a real vaporshite and suffer some burnt hits like the rest of us..... where did you buy the pre made kanger coils mate?

This is the same problem that i have mate. starts and works fine then wants more temp power and flaps about at low watts The calibration relies on a temp sensor in the chip and can go off if you get the mod hot or cold, things like the VaporShark wireless charging, hot car & very cold weather can up set it for a while, but once the mod and atty get to the same (room temp) temp it should be OK. does this only matter at the point of initial calibration? or do different temperatures mess it up throuout the day? cheers for the tip btw

Well im def something Greg and one of them is the least patient person in the world with a temper to match, so if i can master nickel i really dont understand why everyone else is having so many probs. I'm sure it will be my build mate, did a 0.3 about 8 wraps open coil and came out about 0.15 and seems rock steady. Set to 380deg and worked fine all day. Then in the evening temp control coming in so upped to 410 and still coming in. When it's working it's fine at 20 watts then all of a sudden it's being restricted to 8 watts ! just tried it again now and it's fine at 380 and 20watts and still at 0.15 ohms. just appears to be so inconsistent. This is the same problem that i have mate. starts and works fine then wants more temp power and flaps about at low watts

i had both the kangaxion kxd 40 flask or whatever its called and a hana dna40 temp control mod delivered from 3fvape today. IMO the Hana with the smocare chip is the better device. The box is of good quality and the board build is clean and tidy and not smothered in glue. The Hana also seems to perform more solidly/reliably in temp control mode. Saying that the klingaxion is still a good device Lmao you buy two, then go and slate everyone else in another thread for daring to be at the forefront of safer vaping! I rest my case. Morning mate, i bought these things before outting my views across. please bare in mind that this is not a personal attack on anyone, it is just me airing my opinion that these temperature things are a bit crud

Ganstaz
got two of these temp mod things on the go, both clones not the real deal but tbfhimo it doesn't make that much difference.
i feel the need to exercise my rights to freedom of speach on this matter.
there are a lot of posts on this forum where you have some techheads who beleive it is cool to be at the forefront of technology biggin up these devices. Tillyftw pronouces the said temp control devices to be shite
why i hear you ask
I am all for safer vaping but not at the cost of LIFE
hear me out here
I know dr spock and mr zulu like posting graphs and nightvison shots of these temp capabilities but for us normal people, we need to know what the crack is. i am here to explain this in real world terms
1. If you use one of these devices you need to be prepared to fanny about with everything. Your coil, wick, center pin, take your bats out to reset it every hour or so, keep having to ******* put your atty in and off again, it is a right pain in the ass man.
2. If you buy one and do this you will spend over ONE QUARTER OF YOUR LIFE dicking about with your temp settings/setup. This is no life for anyone.
3. You will spend less time with your family and get sacked from your job, all for arsing about with your vape device
4. The technology is not even close to being stable, reliable and usable for a normal person who doesnt enjoy prancing about with settings every 30 freaking seconds
5. I don't know about you, but i just want a faff free vape that hits the spot like, you will not get one with is device
6. Your sex life will suffer
7. In around 5 months, 3 weeks and 17 days from now, some massive nerd in some university will announce that temp control vaping and using ni200 is no safer than just using some bloody kanthal
I won't make many friends by saying this but, to summarize, do not buy this unless you are a massive geek, it sucks pretty hard.
Kanthal ftw

Hello friends, Being from the streets i am not too au fait with this peek insulator garbage. Would anyone be kind enough to post a picture of this bad boy in simple terms, so i can determine if my subtank mini is fitted with one? Warm regards Tillyftw If the insulator at the base of the RBA section is white then the insulator under the positive post on the RBA deck will be white, this means they're pants, both insulators should be clear Top man greg mine is clear

After reading this thread i have given CC my vaporshark and i will run the cloupor alongside my xpro at least then if somethung does go wrong i know what i doing where as CC doesnt. Mate, i am with you on this one 100 percent i also took the cloupor away from our maud, akin to your mrs she is a bit of a tard when it comes to anything electric. i have however decided that the best long term solution is to educate her in some basic electrical facts. One day in the future she will no longer be bad at the game, and i'll be able to vape easy without teaching her how to play all the time. she is also pretty shite at the cooking and the ironing. I can say this and sleep with both eyes closed as she doesnt frequent this forum.

I also suspect that if the theory that they were made in the Fukushima plant and are moving production to another plant they will be marketed as another battery. Mate, this is not entirely correct. i have a friend who works for Sony at corporate level. According to him they are releasing a new line of batteries aimed at the 'female pleasure' market. They are convinced that there are more women knocking one off than there are sub ohm vapers in this universe he also told me that they closed the Fukushima plant due to its offensive name.
