Can you use any off the shelf coils for mtl TC vaping? I have a cool fire iv tc-18650 which I'm currently using in wattage mode with an aspire clearomizer and bvc coil.

How do I get started on mixing my own? Where's best for obtaining ingredients / kit?
Cheers

Probably chykensa. It's been good to have a friend going through the same experiences at the same time.

Well djs, I'm sitting in my den (man cave!) watching the bobsleigh and puffing away on this e-lite. Can't taste a thing...
Tomorrow munkymunky, I'm off to the Puffin Hut in Wootton Bassett (c 3 miles from home). They seem to stock everything and at about the same price as online.
Wish me luck!!

Hi keefy & welcome from another recent convert.
I'm just about to make that transition from e-cigs to spinner (probably). Wondering what's wrong with the spinner to make you want to change?

Thanks for that ENJAY. DJS makes some good points too and I'm now thinking that what I thought may be an allergy, could in fact just be my body adjusting back to 'normal'.
Anyway, onwards and upwards. I think I have a plan worked out for upgrading from E-Lites.
2 x Vision Spinner 1300 mah or smaller. 5 x iclear16 clearomiser. 3 x 30ml e-juice.
Just not sure about sizes so may find a shop first off where I can actually see & feel them before buying online.

Thanks again one & all. It's all a lot clearer now. Just need to decide which I think is going to be right for me and expect to have to try a few until I get it right. At least now I have an informed choice.

Thanks DJS. Can I ask what kit are you using and where from?

Well, you really are a supportive group and I thank you all for the fast & informative responses. For a Luddite like myself, without your input this would be a completely uninformed voyage of trial & error.
Myself (10/day cigars) and a friend (20+/day roll-ups) started on the e-cigs at the same time and to date haven't had a regular smoke since.
We are both finding that the off-the-shelf e-cigs are not great. The cartomisers don't last long & have very little taste after the first few puffs. I quite like the more traditional cigarette rather than the larger alternatives. The spinner does look like a good place to start and I assume these will work with any e-liquid. Have read the beginners guide which has lots more useful info.
I see the e-liquid comes in various sizes, 5ml samples to 50ml. How long do these last? Is there a comparison, i.e 1ml = c.20 cigs?

As an old-timer having smoked for 44 years, I switched to e-cigs 6 months ago. So far just E-Lites light. Apart from the cough disappearing within a couple of weeks, I've started to develop dry skin and the odd spot which I've not had since teenage years. Does anyone have any advice for me as to whether there may be something in these that I mat be allergic to and if there are alternatives? Also thinking of changing to some other kind of e-cig but I'm a bit baffled by all the techo-babble here from all you experts. Again, any advice you can offer, in simple plain language would be much appreciated. Thanks, Andy.
