Not new though, they will look at what similar ppl get paid in the sates and strive for near parity, not saying it is morally right just it is the world I have lived in all my life, probably always. Celb culture makes it far more unpalatable as it generally rewards people with nothing positive to offer humanity and I could far far far more excited about how that is negative than people getting the max from the boss they can get.

It's like "what's new?" only you can now put names to wads who don't have Jimmy Carr's accounts number. Most of use would take the money if we could and most of would work extra hard to do so, so is it friends getting them in, luck or something else because it is not easy to get to that level. Though it is very strange the meh level of most of them, but also quite subjective and it mainly comes down to bums on seats (who they believe bring the punters in). IMO life's far too short to care about this, we are not talking about keeping a hospital going kind of money.

I know two ladies who almost camped on a grass embankment last year...............................without a tent ! I know them too: 6 drinks and their anybody's, 8 and their everybody's, 9 it's the Yellowbeard walk home, 11 it forklift or wheelbarrow home and if you want to know what happens after 13 drinks come to VF.

Booking a hotel room sounds so much easier than buying a tent. Far too much wheelbarrowing to and fro.

Alas almost all tents are skimpy on height. Its murder trying to get dressed inside one, it's like playing twister trying to wiggle into your smalls! I'm always envious of VapingBad who brings a 6 man tent with multi rooms and full standing room. <<< TENT ENVY I do have a 6 man tent (Vango Diablio 600, massive and takes an hour to put up or take down on your own), but only ever brought a 3 man one to VF (Vango beta 350). ETA can't stand up in the one I bring to VF, can sit 2 in camping chairs at a squeeze.

DNAs are fine to charge via USB, probably safer that a lot of chargers, but some especially non metal cases may get quite warm as the case acts as a heat sink. I have 6 Lipo DNA that can only charge in the mod only one ever had an issue and that was the USB side not the battery side. Though 18650 I tend to charge externally for convenience, I charged 11 18650s in under 3 hours this morning having 3 2 bay 2 A chargers.

VapingBad So it is my imagination that the battery lasts longer with a higher resistance coil at the same watts? I've heard that a lot and there could be lots of reasons, like having your coil hotter will not give you more vapour over a certain point and higher res coils would tend to have less contact (bulk) and get a bit hotter than larger lower ohm coils. Lower res coils, more bulky coils could be using a fair bit of the power to get to temperature. Then there's air flow and wicking..... , so hard to qualify and pin down a single reasons, I certainly wouldn't like to pretend I knew. A VW board could be a bit more efficient, but Evolv are one of the few who publish the figure and it just a flat percentage.

VapingBad OMG, I think I'll go back to mechanicals. I think I must be cracking up, and it is a figment of my imagination that my batteries last longer when I increase my coil resistance, but maintain the same wattage. I'm losing the will to live. Think of the converter as a gear box, it changes more than one parameter, rpm/torque or current/volts, ignoring losses they have to balance and have the same energy on both sides. As rpm goes up, torque goes down, as current goes up voltage goes down and vice versa, while energy stays the same. You have just not grasped that the current from the battery is normally different from the current at the coil with a regulated mod. It has to be because the voltage is and otherwise energy would be being created or destroyed which defies the laws of nature. You understand the coil side, but are stuck thinking that a circuit must always have the same current, which is only true for a single path or loop.

To put it another way, if you ignore the loss with efficiency for a moment and say the energy (watts) must be the same both sides of the converter (board) and volts on the battery side are determined by the battery. On the battery side volts are fixed so it is the Amps that will vary when you change the wattage or the battery voltage drops as it discharges. On the coil side the resistance is fixed so when you increase the watts the voltage has to be raised as the resistance and voltage dictate the current. The converter will control the colts on the coil side and the current on the battery side to maintain the wattage. These must all stay in balance because energy cannot be created or destroyed, just converted to another form. The Laws of Thermodynamics, Ohms Law, Joule Heating, Kirchhoff's Current Law, Maxwell's equations and all the rest guarantee this: all energy is accountable for.
