I'll bring a short 4 plug extension lead & electric coolbox for the milk, normally people coming Saturday/Sunday AM bring some milk, don't all bring some though.

In the king and Queens since 7 fine service from cj as ever really impressed my mate down from Yorkshire tea county knowing what a bottle of dog was. Still here,could get messy.

Not even looking this far out, still not going to be freezing unless their is real freak weather. My Rab Neutrino Endurance 200 sleeping bag keeps me warm enough in April in Snowdonia and cool enough at the last few VFs and packs down smaller than most coats, need a decent thermal sleeping mat as always. Looks like it may be the same as now 19 and showers - hope they have it wrong as usual 19 have tent and anorak, my awning is not going to be fixed from last years wind damage on time, but we'll be fine. |

You do know it's in August Lee ? The last 3 years air con for the tent would have been more useful. Have you seen the latest weather report?? I see your point about voting with your wallet re the bbc, but just watch the good stuff (they still do a fair amount of that) is voting with your wallet, iPlayer and online stressing is more effective in that respect as it is automatic logged, viewing figures are their bottom line. I almost never watch live telly except for news, bbc gone severely down hill there, rather choose what and when to watch for years now. When I look at what's on it is generally an invitation to have a moan.

Not to mention the idiot that thinks this is a license to blow stupid dense clouds and will spoil it for everyone. And they will, I take a main line train + a tube train to work everyday, you can vape on the mainline platform in the open air if you are discrete or hide behind the smokers. But I regularly smell people vaping on the down escalator entering the tube network no more than 120 seconds after they were in the open air! |

Bobsbeer I know you didn't want to say anything about Chris Evans, but can't sit on my hands any longer - how such an obnoxious git can be paid that much is criminal  Small fry: Trump CE has limited spheres of influence and even less power You could pick Graham Norton, Jeremy Clarkson, all the Loose Women team, Paul O'Grady, Peter Kay, Claudia Winkleman, Etc, Etc, all just wind bags that enough people like enough to keep tuning in, enough people enjoy it to pay the bills, but the rest of us will never understand it. There have always been stars that pull the crowds in. We are all guilty I see a film I have not heard of, read the description and am still undecided if I want to waste 90 mins of my life, then an actor or 2 I like in the cast sometimes changes my mind. I could go on, and on, like programs that have the presenters name in the title (makes no diff to the subject of the prog).... It is the way the world works, we stopped valuing creators and solvers in favour of tabloid sensationalists dross long ago, as said before vote with your wallet or live with it. |
