What 's the best method of cutting that stuff phtumshk , Grandad . The edges look clean and smooth. The last time I tried it you'd have thought I'd cut it with an angle grinder. Wet'n'dry on a bit of glass, old mirror or faux granite place matt and you can get a fantastic finish. |

Think you'll have to make one glen, or mod an esquare at least they aren't far taller than necessary like most off the shelf boxes. BTW Evolv were asked if they would do a temp protect Kick, but it's not possible as they need power when not firing and Kicks don't. |

Not found anything that is lots smaller than the Vt-Inbox mate...I generally use my RockModz mechs when i want a smaller carry.. Thanks mate, I thought that would be the case, but just prefer something regulated, the search continues lol You could try an 18490 and a Kick in one of the new gen of mech squonkers, lots of people did it with Rios. |

With SS I would aim to build about 10-15% lower res than you like with Kanthal so you get about the same power, but the same res would fine. If you lower the res much more you will be vaping at higher power.

Lower res will strain your battery more giving you more voltage sag, but it's the res that sets power on those so at the same res the two will start using the same power. But as SS heats it's resistance will go up about 20% so the power would go down 17% during the puff.

Slow to me, I have 6 x 2 A channels, but 1 A not bad and 3 of these would allow the OP to charge all 3 batteries together at 1 A for just over half the cash if they have 3 1 A USB outputs available, I am not endorsing them, I know nothing about the quality of that brand. |

The power graph is for Ni, I think it is just loosely based on Ni will be double or more it's resistance when vaping, you can get you own max figures for a temperature, TCR & resistance triplet. SS is going to be much closer to Kanthal and Ti much closer to Ni, as domejunky said it is the max output voltage of 6.2 that restricts max resistance, it was lower originally but they increased it in the beta to allow 0.5 ohm and 75 W. buggritt you can put your last puff avg power, energy in mWh and time on the screen to compare how much energy the different modes are using, or vape hooked up to device monitor. |

I was serious about the screen, I already carry around 2 higher res screens if I want to read a book or watch TV, I don't need another. But if it make you happy good for you, I would have a more then evens chance of breaking the screen and I don't think they are replaceable. Maybe I'm just a grumpy old git, it would just make me cross if I felt I was buying more to get another colour way, IDK but thy look like it would have been straightforward to allow the frames to be swappable.

Always always always better off with 2 x 2 bay charges than a 4 bay IMO, I use 3 x 2 bay myself. The reason is they get much slower to charge with more than 2 bays and it is best to not have to charge batteries unattended or while your asleep. Tiny, tiny risk, but fire..., tiny risk etc, but can be avoided completely by having decent chargers that don't take more than a couple of hours, most 4 bays will take 6+ hours. So there's no risk in charging batteries separately for the same mod? If so if anyone has a 2x slot one for sale I'd take that! Sorry, it's been a long week for me to answer properly, but all decent mods and charges are very safe charging these days, 2 slots are typically faster then 4. I did a guide linked in my footer and will be happy to answer questions over the weekend when I am a bit brighter. |

Switched one of my atomizers to an ss coil as I have a steel tank on it. Been using it at around 400F, but it seems to be using the battery a lot quicker for the same vape I get with kanthal. It's a 1 ohm coil. Maybe VapingBad is the man for this question? Sorry, long week I'll read the thread properly tomorrow, but you should temp protection to drain the battery a little less than VW, could be a fault in the tp board, an under performing VW mod or most likely the low battery cut off being a fair bit lower on the VW mod |

The Lada paint job is the only reason I've never bought an Alien. Still have a notion for one, but when I see pics of some at two weeks old, it makes me cringe. Not put off by the appearance and silly large screen  I know blakey says the work well, but a big time avoid for me with that mobile phone envy battery wasting screen and the general random kludge design that I doubt even any of the design committee liked much. Harsh, maybe, but they are not cheap. |
