I'm pragmatic about this. If I was still smoking around 30 Silk Cut a day I'd be spending around £9 a day - enough for an atty, new SD battery and 2.5ml of juice every day!

"Last" with an atty is a matter of perception - if you think an atty is lasting really well, try comparing it with a new one - mostly you will find it is actually not working very well at all...

It could be that the atty itself shorted of course - that can happen (not common). I'd be tempted to replace the adapter just to be sure (unless you know someone clever enough to test it?)

It sounds to me like there is an electrical short in the adapter. This will cause a short in the SD and hence the spring will collapse - as it is supposed for safety. So you could say the SD has worked perfectly - I'd get a new adapter and get trog to repair the SD. I've found adapters from Toby, Abe and Lisa to all be of good quality...

I'd be happy to put a linking thread to each review I do (or even copy them here if you like)

Just a thought - the Liberro Go disposable looks like a cig and has had good reviews - might it be worth trying a couple of those to see if they like vaping?

To answer the question:
I get a number (!) of Santa remarks at Xmas (usually from drunk young women) - I hve a standard response: "No presents for you - you haven't been good..."
The rest of year I get Gandalf, ZZ Top, and Darwin ("Here mate, why's your picture on this 10 pound note?") jokes...

I know that Isaac isn't a snob, but don't let him hear you calling him a Mog, Prof scylla x All cats are mogs to me I'm afraid - I don't believe in "class distinction"

I have an eGo (won at Vapefest) - I don't like the side button, but I use my thumb...

I have never consciously "stocked up" - but I've keep buying stuff - mainly atomisers and juice like Chrissie - I think I have nearly two years' supply....
