I've been talking about this today. Because my quitter's flu is really bad at the moment, I put off my first vape of the day deciding I'd wait till the craving got bad and I *needed* it. I'd never have been able to wait very long on cigarettes (couple of hours max and I'd've been getting ratty and irritable). As it is, I've ended up not vaping at all today and still not feeling a craving. I wasn't vaping 0mg either.

I've never known how to do smoke rings with real cigarettes. Ended up trying it with e-cigs and managed after a bit of practice. But it took a while to get the knack and I probably used up a whole clearomizer's worth of juice in the process. I did it from a few youtube tutorials but found it difficult to hold the position at first. Probably looked pretty strange doing it too!

I've been lucky so far and liked most of the liquids I've bought. But there are a few I've wondered about trying but put it off for that reason - if I don't like it it's a waste of money.
Somebody suggested smokerainbow to me (might have been on here, can't remember) and I had a look on there last night. There were single samples for under a quid as well as selections of different samples. I'm thinking of giving one of the selections a try rather than paying out for full bottles which don't end up getting used. Maybe something like that would help for you?

I think mine must be at the lower end because if I fill a 1.6ml I usually only get through half in one day. But I wasn't a very heavy smoker and generally didn't smoke that often while I was out, just when I got back home. My vaping habit is similar, a few long sessions in the morning with my cup of tea then not much till the evening time. I think I was a "consistent" smoker throughout the day - although vaping is a little different for me and I definitely vape more in the evening when at home. Yeah the evenings tend to be my main time. I usually forget about vaping in the day when I'm busy (like I forgot about smoking) but make up for it in the evening. That said my OH accuses me of overdoing it!

Hi, thanks for all the info. Currently on a couple of starter kits but been looking at some other things online that I might buy now I've got my kits to keep me going while I wait for a delivery. Currently keen to try a dual coil clearomizer and one with a rotateable tip - they look good!

Hi, I'm new too. I started on menthol then tried the fruit ones. I much prefer the fruits and even my OH who was a committed smoker and hated even menthol cigarettes likes the fruit flavours for vaping. I've not tried the tobacco liquids though so no idea if they're realistic or not.

jinnxWell done on swapping to vaping. Ego is a good place to start, but folk will be along soon to help you spend some money icon_shoppingm Enjoy! Hi, Thanks. Oh I know, I'm mad about them already I've bought another one today! Been looking at a few online too. My OH has an Evod too, so we switch around with each other's. I don't think it'll be long before I have a go at something more sophisticated than starter kits, but I'm so glad I tried them

Hey everyone. Thought I'd do a starter message to say hi. I'm new to the forum and pretty new to vaping. I'm currently on day 27 of not smoking. First couple of days I tried going cold turkey, which I've tried before and it always sends me a bit loopy. So I bought a disposable, then rechargeable cigarette to try and limit some of the side effects. I'd tried them before and they didn't help much, but I really wanted to stop because my son HATES smoking with a passion and his distress at me smoking really got to me. I decided this time I'd try a few different brands and types of e-cig in the hope of finding something that would help me get of the cigarettes without being too bat-cr@p crazy in the process(!) This time around the second e-cig I tried was an eGo. Before I'd always done ones that didn't use juice. Anyway this time it's been so much better. I don't want a cigarette at all now and unlike every other attempt at stopping there's been no temptation to have another one (not even the "I'll just have one, it won't hurt" self justification) because I prefer this so much more. The good side is, this is cheaper for me, the vapes taste so much nicer than cigarettes, I don't have to go out and smoke in the freezing cold, plus this time around my OH (a DIE HARD smoker!) has been tempted over the the Vaping side and hasn't had a cigarette for two weeks either. It did take a bit of persuasion to just try a bit of the one I'd bought but now we're both converts. The only bad side is I'm currently going through the negative side effects of quitting the cigarettes and getting rid of everything I've inhaled into them over the years. I keep reading this is normal, which is reassuring, but it's still maddening and uncomfortable. Can't wait for this part to be over! Looking forward to finding out lots more about vaping on here.
