I sort of understand where quincey43 is coming from. On one hand it's a 30 watt device, not really that compact, and you need to buy batteries if you don't have them. On t'other, it's a yihi chip, albeit a new one, and pre ordering from China is about £34. Original means little in this case. P4U don't make the important bit - the chip - and their quality control isn't legendary. There's no doubt they are jumping on the Istick popularity, but that's not a bad thing. So no, I don't think it's cheap - but myepack aren't responsible for that. Some US vendors are offering them around $50 - no good to us of course.

With all due respect Dave, if you have limited use in one hand, a kayfun is not for you. I need both my hands and teeth to coil it. Most RTA atomizers are a pain as the decks and screws are small. pre made won't make any difference, as the easy bit is making the coil. Why not try a Nautilus clone as a cheap option.

I hate to do this. but yet another waste of time. Nobody has suggested that glycol is dangerous as far as I'm aware. It would be crackers as it's been used in air conditioning for decades. But we vapourise it, add things to it and blow out trace amounts of nicotine. That's the debate.

Even as a non science graduate, mine is in history, I have to look at research then decide what I believe. 40 years a smoker. Tried cold turkey, seasonal reference slipped in, and was gagging for a cig in hours. Picked up an ego - never looked back. I think the argument from "our" side is simple. I'm doing no harm, so leave me alone.

If you accept that "other" ingredients are responsible for cigarette addiction, then vaping can't be an alternative. But it clearly is. The only thing contained in both is nicotine.

Nicotine is addictive. Nowhere, i that over wordy piece, contains any evidence that it's not. And I believe it's generally known that it's about as dangerous as caffeine. The fact that people go back to cigs doesn't point to nic being less addictive than we thought. It points to the habitual nature of smoking, the ritual if you like. My view is simple. Let the EU do what it likes, we won't stop them anyway. Vote to leave as soon as we are asked. Meanwhile, stock up on diy.

This chip isn't much different to the DNA. No step down puts it out of the equation for me. Good price though.

Vapers Emporium are offering a special 30% discount on orders over £25.00 excluding postage (and on my order, Vat too) until 17.00 Monday December 8th. And that's when their TFA concentrates are already reduced to £1.43 / 10ml; I also grabbed 250ml of AG 72mg/ml for £15.53. If the value of your order (before vat and postage is added) is over £25, you'll see a pop-up entry below your shopping basket suggesting you use code SALE48 to get the discount. Once that special deal ends, you can still get a 15% Christmas discount until Midnight Wednesday the 31st of December using the code SANTA15. Roscopecotrain was on the hunt for nic base. Great find.

Let me translate their "about us" statement. We are in this to make a few quid. In pursuit of this, we will heavily promote cig a likes as their companies have more money. We know that forum members won't fall for our BS, but it's not aimed at you. The purpose of this poll is to direct traffic to the site, very important to advertisers. We are aware that people just becoming interested will get the impression that experienced vapers are ok with cigalikes. This will lead to failure to enjoy the benefits, but we don't give a flying one (see point one)
I'm surprised that only one other cynic takes a similar, more diplomatic, view.
