Presumably it just had an ordinary stamp on it, as did mine. Daft to put a first class on it. 2nd class large is only 7p more.

Just used a piece of 15 amp fuse wire VapingBad. Great tip. Throw is a bit scarily short now, just the slightest touch needed.

I'm trying to source a tiny metal washer for the Astro - to shorten the throw a little. Love it's size and weight, but been spoiled by the Launcher which has the best spring button of them all. Been trolling round B&Q, but the ones that have a wide enough centre hole have too big a circumference (thank the stars for spell check). Or is there a better way? Ideas welcome.

Self employment - it's a big learning curve @agenthoover. The bonus being I have a boss I respect some of the time.

The only advantage of alcohol based cleaners is speed. One wipe and you're done. I'm quite happy to save a fiver and wash em. Besides, I've got enough stuff locked away from the grandkids. They are dying to get into that cupboard.

ecolux do the same battery, Panny branded, cheaper. I use them in my mechanical mods, down to 1.2 ohm, without any issue.

Just don't go anywhere near Fasttech. "Did I buy that? I don't remember wanting that. How many mechs have I got? Who in their right mind could use all these? In fact - what IS that? Shut the drawer"

Even though there is a postage option for batteries now - getting them delivered to an address in this country may prove a problem. I don't know how ebay sellers are getting round it.

I was making an assumption based on my one nemmy, and the fact that many seem to go for magnets straight away Q. Mine had a shocking firing switch and was a bit rough around the top cap. The reason someone unused to mechs may prefer the Atom. Telescopic 510, no need to mess with a screwdriver.

Perhaps if you tell us what the problem is with the 4nine mrlimbo? Plus - a nemesis isn't the simple mod you asked for. Superb when you get them fettled, but for out of the box simple, and cheap, have a look at FT. The M16, Atom and the launcher are all easy to use. Quality wise the Launcher is superb, but very heavy. Has a flawless button, but it's a big un. The M16 brass is also quite heavy, but works every time and needs no messing as it has a spring loaded firing pin. The Atom, and the Astro come to think of it, are only about 6 ml longer than the 4nine and lightweight steel, both with telscoping firing button. Any atty fits all of these.
