I really don't want to buy another type of battery, as I am presently rotating five of the Imist 1100mAh manual batteries!
But I do have two defunct ones, and time on my hands to faff around! LOL

Hi folks, Not been here for a while and hope that everyone is doing well! My ecig has been a godsend for my emphysema, and I've reduced my nicotine intake from 18mg nicotine base /100mg PG down to 4mg nicotine base/100mg PG in a year! I need some advice/help. I have several Imist 1100mAh Manual Batteries, bought for £15 each, which I buy locally from here:- vaporized.co.uk/shop/accessories/imist-1100mah-manual-battery/and which obviously eventually stop functioning. I was wondering if it is possible....and therefore I could save money....can the actual battery itself...inside the metal holder... be replaced, and if so where can I buy new batteries, can I replace them with ones with a greater/higher mAh, and if it is possible, how do I go about fitting them. Hallo all inhabitants of Vapourland....anyone else been recently diagnosed or is a long term sufferer of COPD and vapes? Earlier last year, my son and daughter-in-law came over from NZ with my new baby grandaughter, and I REALLY didn't want to smoke around her....neither my son nor daughter-in-law do, and they hate it....so I bought a lookie-likie fake fag, and HATED it!!! I was diagnosed with moderate (just... @74% FEV-1) COPD last October, and I quit smoking immediately, went onto the terrible NHS NRT...yech.... until my lovely,friendly postman recommended and obtained my EGO ecig for me! I was VERY pleasantly suprised how good the EGO was, how easily I was able to adapt to it, and replace the 50+ fags I'd been burning my lungs with for the last 40 years and I've been more than happy with it since.  After a few days on my ecig, I stopped coughing....during the night, first thing in the morning, as well as all day....BRILLIANT!!!  If you have COPD, how has vaping effected you? How long have you been doing it and has there been any effect on your FEV-1 readings....up or down? Has your breathing, after exertion, changed...better or worse? Do you vape sweet/other flavours? Anything else you can add would be very much appreciated. TIA drifter |

No problem dinamic22  WOW, amazing...my LT ecig delivery arrive about an hour a go.....that was fast...so when I've finished my last wee bit of banana I'll be dipping my feet into unflavoured-ejuice-land!  I'm starting a COPD thread on the General Board. If anyone cares to contribute, I'd be really pleased as I'm seeking any information to help myself...and anyone else, of course...with this horrid plight! drifter |

Phew....thanks DiscoDes....thought I'd messed up for a minute there!!
The reason that I want to try unflavoured...and I have tried quite a few sweet and tabacco-like flavours....is that having been diagnosed with COPD last October, when I immediately stopped smoking, went on to NRT (yech!) and then vaping after an aquaintence recommended and aquired a kit for me...I've been thinking that using flavourless ejuice might be a step in a healthier direction i.e. one less thing my lungs have to cope with? Does anyone with COPD have anything to advise/add about this?

Karma has already suggested LT eCigs to me, so tomorrow....pension day...I'm going to order 2 bottles of PG, 1 of VG and a mixer set.....and off I go  !!!! Looking at the LT eCigs, I was trying to work out how much P&P will be. They say.... Royal Mail 1st Class Packet, rates starting at £3.00 Royal Mail 2nd Class Packet, rates starting at £2.60 Do you know if that is £2.60/£3.00 per item? TIA drifter

Hi everyone I've just joined today, but have been vaping since 1st November last year, after being diagnosed with COPD, and I'm loving vaping, after over 40 years on the vile, smelly, white sticks !!!!! I have...after sampling various flavours....liked and stuck with banana....but I was thinking that if I removed the flavouring aspect, which is beginning to taste a bit sickly sweet, vaping might be even beneficial for me. At the moment I'm vaping 80% PG 20% VG 18mg ejuice, and was looking for this mix, but unflavoured, cheap, and from a reliable/recommended UK supplier. A forum mate from another site I'm on......who is a member here, and so led me here (Thank you karmacookie from MSE  )....recommended ltecigs.larsentilbrook.co.uk, which looks great, but I will have to mess around with the PG/VG ratios, as they only do 100% PG/VG or a 50-50 mix.
