We might be getting crossed lines here, sighs posted a link from what i can see about recoiling horizontal (original) coils if so there easily stripped and rebuilt in two minutes if needed otherwise just change the wick. . I'm on about the vertical coils BVC (Vertical coil) They can be rebuilt if you have 2 hrs to spare as far as i'm concerned unless someone else knows different, were ere all learning. We may be at cross purposes. No way could I do a vertical coil. If I get a new Nautilus BVC I don't even use it. Take the guts out and put a horizontal in. Wicks better & takes higher watts. Need to do some googling on the isub coils.

I only use tanks that take Nautilus BVC coils and have been recoiling them for 2 years. Biggest drawback is the rubber grommet at the bottom of the heads. It perishes & gets damaged by the hot coil legs. I'm having some made in silicon as I haven't found a source for replacements.
One of the vapers I make juice for uses an isub tank and having seen the recoiling thread linked above I'll ask him to save some and have a go.

The only mods I use are iStick 30W. I changed from Nautilus Minis to Kabukis because I was forever unintentionally moving the airflow adjustment on the Nautilus. The Kabuki airflow is set & forget and it uses the Nautilus BVC coils. Discount at FT this weekend www.fasttech.com/products/5477100 or www.fasttech.com/p/3870800 I haven't tried the GS tanks because I recoil the Nautilus BVC coil heads and don't try any tank that doesn't use them.

No harm in contacting them and cheekily asking if you can cancel and re-order smifee Are they on here? Yes it's my main supplier Everything Liquid and in their case it would be ultra cheeky.
I collected my last nicotine order from them as I was visiting a company in the same town. I'm still working my way through the samples.

I use these and the only problem I've had is that on some of them the down tube has not been trimmed off properly. This leads to 'bubble up' and overflow. Had to chuck about 6 out of 30.
For the price they are it's not a problem.

minime My nautilus stock coils take a good tank or two to bed in and then last for around 2 weeks, I have one permanently for the car with RA in it and when I change the coil the taste isn't that good for at least a tank and a half and RA is a pretty strong vape so you'd think it would hit instantly but it doesn't. Love my nautilus tanks for ease of use, no leaks ever. I only use stock coils for the tank with Red Astaire though, my other nautilus tanks are run with some recoiled heads from smifee on here down to around 1.4 and wicked with tape, they are much better for heavy & sweeter mixes I find and the airflow is different with the recoiled ones. Don't log in very often these days so just seen this tag.
Still recoiling the nautilus coil heads but the rubber grommets cause flooding when the coil legs burn into them.
I'm having the grommets made in silicon and should get a couple to test next month.
If they are successful TJ I'll recoil yours with the silicon grommets.

preston234 I've rescued several iSticks that have suffered being leaked on. I just put them in a container of dry rice grains for a few days. The rice dries them out. Just make sure you've got all the grains out before you fire it up.

In the coil gunker stakes Salted Caramel is in a class of it's own.
I had to retire one of my favourite DIY juices because of it.

nice to see you still around too smifee Oooh another MTL dinosaur.
Still read the site most days but don't have anything to contribute to the majority of threads.
We have a card session every week with 6 players. 3 are MTL vapers and it gets pretty foggy. I don't think we could see the cards if we were all sub ohmers

Hi womble from a fellow dinosaur. Reading forums you would think everyone sub ohms. In the real world the majority of vapers don't. In my town when I walk past the only vape shop it's usually has no customers but the cigalike stand in the Swan Centre usually has at least one customer. After the initial mad rush to try everything new I settled on iStick 30W with Nautilus Mini. Tried several sub ohm tanks & rebuildable tanks but didn't like them. Now use Kabuki tanks instead of the Nauty minis and it uses the same coils which I recoil. The clone I get from FT is as good as an original. I make juice for other vapers and only one has stayed with sub ohming. He used to have 2 18mg 30ml bottles a month. Now he has 3 3mg 30ml bottles every 10 days. Not completely cured from trying new stuff though. Recently got a Serpent Mini but only for the adjustable bottom pin as I have a 4Nine mod that I have never had a safe tank to use on it. Playing with it caused me to get other mech mods out of hibernation but I tend to just use them with a couple of Magma drippers for flavour testing. As many people advise if it works for you stick with it. Your bank balance will be healthier too. Shinyitus is the vaper's curse.

lynwlt I read your sad posts and knew how you must be feeling as we lost Lulu, my avatar, this year. We also know how you must be feeling now as this is Luna. She's a working Cocker Spaniel. Very loving with a huge mischievous streak.
