Ohh that does sound like good advice kiwi. I have dermatitis and it's felt like it was getting worse the last week or so - wonder if the high PG might have something to do with that too? Definitely worth a shot at some 50/50 juice I think! Thanks so much for your help  My skin really flared up, think it was a combination of toxins coming out of my body from stopping smoking and the high PG levels. Well done on changing wicks etc, I just buy the clearomizers you fill up, then throw away when they stop working.(so far they have lasted 3 weeks) Like you I think I overloaded on info and it will take me time to learn about coils/heads etc but the people on this site are really helpful |

Hi I cannot give any advise on kits etc as I still have no idea how it all works but you sound like you are going through exactly what I was going through my first week of vaping, was very close to giving up but then got some juice from joosejuice, changed everything for me. I was having a really bad reaction to high pg juices, sore throat, coughing, vapers tongue and a itchy rash on my arms  Order a few samples of 50%pg/50%vg 18mg from joocejuice, wow what a difference it's made, the soft mint flavour is so smooth on your throat. Thanks Dave and Perpetua, will get some of that, am sucking on a mint before vaping at the moment, works well, much better than just the horrid flavours I have at the moment, can't wait for my order from joocejuice to arrive  |

Hi kiwi68 the really great thing about vaping is we can have many different flavours on the go in different tanks we don't get bored then and start on the nibbles. I was worried about weight gain too but think I have lost a few pounds no scales in my place to check but my zips go up easier lol. Blueberry is quite a subtle vape so no a lot of flavour. The other good thing about vaping is we can mix the flavours together in a tank. Buy some menthol if you order from joosejuice if you find you hate a juice you can add a little menthol and it makes it vapable quite often. Also it's good to vape on it's own to reset the taste buds when you lose taste. Thank you babs for the great advice Is it best to buy the concentrate menthol or ready made juice? I have about 8 bottles of the awful stuff I got off ebay that might taste a bit better with some menthol in, worth a try |

with joosejuice you can order the ratio as you like it - if you like fruit flavours - they have really nice ones - for example the keylime is very refreshing and as already said before - drink more water or tea or whatever you like Just looking at all the great flavours at joosejuice, will order a selection to find out which ones I like Was worried about putting on weight stopping smoking but with all the water I am drinking and all the walking to the loo should keep it down lol  |

I tried some of the tobacco flavours in the mirage shop, didn't like them at all so went for the blueberry flavour but its not got a lot of taste so yes will try some new ones thanks

Been reading up about PG, think I may be having a bad reaction to it as I have a got a hive like rash on both my arms...not nice deffo bad move buying it off ebay, I really should have researched it a bit better. I like fruit flavours, only tried blueberry so far. That's quite common to have a PG sensitivity Kiwi . . . I'd choose eliquids with a high VG content, you get more vapour and a little less throat hit. Been looking at some of the sites recommended and see lots of juice with a high VG content, like the joose juice site with the small trail sizes, that's a good idea |

Hi & kiwi68The Mirage is just a standard Ego (over priced) battery, so the good news is that it's compatible with loads of other atomisers out there. You may want to try the Evod or Iclear16 from MyEpack, which should include the quality of your vape. However you mention dehydration, you've probably been using liquids that are very high in PG (Propylene Glycol) and as to buying them off of Ebay my advice woud be to STOP NOW, you probably have no idea how or where they're produced. Try some liquids from a well known Liquid specialist like T-Juice, Vape Escape (Grizwalds), The Alchemist, or Joose Juice. What flavours do you like? Welcome to you kiwi68. Up your fluid intake as much as possible . . . you'll find vaping is quite drying in comparison to smoking. Thank you Perpetua for the lovely welcome. Certainly getting through the water, will try and drink more as waking up with such a dry mouth |

hello and welcome kiwi68  - generally ebay is not the best place to buy something - myepack is a vendor many here have very good experiences - me included - they also sell the dekang liquids - which I personally think are not too bad however for liquids try joosejuice - their liquids are fab and you can use a discount code and if you buy a 30ml bottle you get two - and their 10ml bottles are great for finding out what you like - the only thing is - you need to let them steep - this is why I would suggest to get some ready to vape liquid to sort you out for 2 tto 3 weeks congratulations of having quit the stinkies - nice to have you here - and just ask as much as you want - I do - and folks in here are very helpful Thank you Clivia for the advise, will take a look at the sites you have suggested. Think I thought all liquid/equipment were the same but certainly learning there is a lot more to it than just picking the cheapest or easiest option. Thanks for the help |
