Hi everyone

New to vaping and forums so excuse me if I post this in completely the wrong place 

Have learn't so much reading all the posts on here and have a few questions I hope you can help me with.

Been vaping for about 2 weeks now, stopped smoking day I started vaping and not finding it too bad but am finding vaping makes me so dehydrated

I am using a mirage eros, which I have now read really bad reviews about but there is a shop in town and was the easiest option to get started with and ordered some juice off ebay which tastes like soap/washing up liquid

Got sore throat and yukky tongue now, all started so well and really dont want to start smoking again but at a bit of a "grrrrrrr what to do now" point

Help!!......please

hello and welcome kiwi68 - generally ebay is not the best place to buy something - myepack is a vendor many here have very good experiences - me included - they also sell the dekang liquids - which I personally think are not too bad

however for liquids try joosejuice - their liquids are fab and you can use a discount code and if you buy a 30ml bottle you get two - and their 10ml bottles are great for finding out what you like - the only thing is - you need to let them steep - this is why I would suggest to get some ready to vape liquid to sort you out for 2 tto 3 weeks

congratulations of having quit the stinkies - nice to have you here - and just ask as much as you want - I do - and folks in here are very helpful

Up your fluid intake as much as possible . . . you'll find vaping is quite drying in comparison to smoking.

The Mirage is just a standard Ego (over priced) battery, so the good news is that it's compatible with loads of other atomisers out there. You may want to try the Evod or Iclear16 from MyEpack, which should include the quality of your vape.

However you mention dehydration, you've probably been using liquids that are very high in PG (Propylene Glycol) and as to buying them off of Ebay my advice woud be to STOP NOW, you probably have no idea how or where they're produced.

Try some liquids from a well known Liquid specialist like T-Juice, Vape Escape (Grizwalds), The Alchemist, or Joose Juice.

First of all..drink water a bit more than usual. Next, you should experiment with a) your nicotine levels. b) your PG & VG ratios.
Read up as much as you can about them.
You'll get there in the end.

Thank you Clivia for the advise, will take a look at the sites you have suggested.

Think I thought all liquid/equipment were the same but certainly learning there is a lot more to it than just picking the cheapest or easiest option.

Buy small quantities of whatever eliquids you do chose kiwi68, as you may well find your tastes change and you don't want to have masses of a flavour that you may not longer enjoy.

Do go with all that Clivia said, myepack good vender and have ordered myself from joosejuice, good juice at a very good price.
and vapeing can make you dehydrated, just drink plenty of fluids, it does get better.
and ebay is a no go for any juice.

Been reading up about PG, think I may be having a bad reaction to it as I have a got a hive like rash on both my arms...not nice deffo bad move buying it off ebay, I really should have researched it a bit better. I like fruit flavours, only tried blueberry so far.

That's quite common to have a PG sensitivity Kiwi . . . I'd choose eliquids with a high VG content, you get more vapour and a little less throat hit.

I know of Mirage (of course) and, as Des says, it's not game over as you can use the battery(s).

ebay is hit and miss for most things, so sorry to hear that.
