Hello All,
Wanting to say hi and introduce myself, and ask a few questions along the way if I may?
I'm new to vaping, having just got my first set up from a local shop a few days ago. I'm reading up about it all slowly, and practicing techniques and whatnot, but I'm not ready to give up tobacco just yet. I usually smoke between 7-10 skinny roll ups a day, although I've found if I vape aswell, that can easily go down to at least half. In fact, on the third day after I got my kit, I didn't smoke any roll ups at all, much to my surprise, and didn't miss it at all!
I have hit a few little snags tho. The shop where I bought my kit is called Vaporized. I went along there because a lot of folks online said it was a great shop for e cigs and the staff were friendly and would take the time to talk you through stuff etc. The guy that served me was indeed really helpful, but I didn't feel entirely comfortable in the shop itself. I'm 52, disabled, and have a bit of a stutter, and felt somewhat out of place in a head shop surrounded by young guys in their teens and 20s listening to thrash metal and contemplating the draw on the latest bong in the window.
God that sounds discriminatory of me doesn't it? :/ I hasten to add there's nothing wrong with all that at all! It's just that I feel a little shy about going back, even though the guy who served me really encouraged me to!
Anyway, I'm hoping that you guys might be able to help me instead as the needs arise?
I spent about £45 on a (somewhat customised for my particular needs) starter kit, which included 2 batteries, 2 clearomisers a usb plug and charger thing, 2x 10ml e juice and a battery safe charging bag. The juice I've been vaping so far is their dekang mocha flavour, 80pg/20vg 11mg nicotine, which I tried in the shop - my first ever experience of vaping and OMG it was amazing!!!
I think (after some online research) that the clearomisers I have are the Kanger T2 2.4ml. The batteries appear to be the ego 1100mah, but I'm getting a little confused when reading about kit because there seems to be so many different names for things.
Maybe that's enough to write for now, just want to say hello first, then maybe ask some specifics!
Thank you for reading,
MissT

Great introduction. to aaec. Youll soon get to grips with all the terminology im 25 and struggle at times lol. Congrats on taking the first step in starting to leave tobacco behind, and for going a full day without a stinky. Some find it easy and some struggle sounds like your ging to be one of the easier converts if your doing fine on 11mg juice. If you need to ask something feel free theres no such thing as a stupid or daft question here

Hi sounds like you've made a good start be careful of tank cracker juices if you have kanger T2 clearo's they are polycarbonate. You might want to upgrade to a glass tank soon but what you have is fine for now. You'll soon get to grips with all the bits and pieces. And to AAEC

Hi misst and a warm welcome. If you haven't already done so then read through the new starters threads - there is enough information there to keep you going for a while and will provide you with enough basic knowledge to make informed choices. Good luck and happy vaping.

Hi misst and a very warm from me too As the other guys have said, it seems like you have made a great start. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. If you're comfortable with ordering online, anytime you need to upgrade/replace, we'll be sure to help you spend your money, and will point you in the direction of the best deals around. As far as juice goes, if you fancy trying some new flavours, check out Joosejuice.co.uk... loads of flavours and only £1.49 for 10ml, great for finding out what kind of flavours you really like.

Welcome misstIt sounds like you did OK. (huge relief given the horror stories of rip-off shops and online over-priced junk...) You can feel at home here. I'm not in my twenties, I don't listen to thrash anything. If you end up liking Dekang, you should check out myepack.co.uk/
