Thanks! See if we can get some good info... On a lighter note, caramel and gingerbread mix make the most fab vape! Have tried mixtures as I cant be bothered to vape a whole tank full before I want a change, but cant get away with dripping at work. So I take a mix of juices and just make it up. Doesnt always work though...  |

Yes I saw that, this is a fab place for up to date info!
I may be asking for opinions and polls at some stage, hope no one minds. One reason I think vaping may be an apparently successful way of coming off tobacco is due to forums like this that offer so much support from people who have been there and know what its like. Also no one is judging and if you fall off the wagon, its no big deal.

Thanks guys, Ive managed to convert a couple of friends to e cigs which is great, but I find it frustrating not being able to suggest them to patients who I think may benefit, which is why I thought of this for the subject. Plus I cant get excited about writing 10000 words on urine infections or hypertension!
Ive been checking in regularly to keep abreast of everything and watch everyone spend their hard earned on all these shineys (may HAVE to indulge at some point, all in the name of research, you understand!)

Well I initially joined this forum about a year ago, and had some fab advice from everyone. Im now using and ego twist with mini nova and quite happy with this (especially with Grizs cocomel!)
Now I am a nurse practitioner in general practice and doing my dissertation (yes after 10 years of working towards my degree I thought Id better finish it!) I have smoked since pussy was a kitten and never gone down the being a smoking cessation advisor route until now. I am doing my dissertation on the effectiveness (or not - discuss!) of nicotine replacement therapy and looking at smoking alternatives including e cigs, a subject I think I will enjoy looking into! Now I do want to differentiate between e cigs as an alternative to smoking as opposed to a smoking cessation aid.
Am hoping to challenge many of the myths we are fed about how marvellous NRT is by the NHS, dont know how it'll pan out yet but should be interesting researching it!

Well I run an animal rescue and I couldnt watch it, made me feel sick.
The only way we cope is by focussing on the good peeps, and there are a few of those about. This year for 160+ ferrets that have come into the rescue, we have found homes (GOOD homes!) for over 140 of them.
What annoys me is the fact that animals are just disposable - if they dont fit into your life anymore, just get rid of them. Had a call from someone a couple of days ago who couldnt look after her ferrets as she had 6 kids and 3 dogs (she only had the ferrets for 2-3 months). Could I take them? Tempted to suggest she rehomes some of the kids but agreed to take the ferrets. I suppose at least she bothered to phone us.
We see some real abuse cases like this one but they thankfully are quite rare. Its usually cases of neglect and ignorance, or just no longer wanted.
Sorry, rant over!! Hope this tw*t gets his just rewards

Im still quite new to this and have the egot which I use with cartos. Couldnt get me head around the atty/cartridge bits, especially with starting with a dud atty!
The main issue Ive just worked out (bit slow on the uptake here!) is I have been totally underestimating the amount of juice needed to competely fill a carto and had the burnt taste virtually from day 1 so if you try the carto line make sure they are really well filled to start with.
Now I'm getting the hang of things I am going to order more attys just for dripping onto but might try the ones to go on the little 510 battery first.

Isnt it odd? Thought Id go for the clean fuity flavours, and the coffee chocolates are always left in the selection tins 'cos I hate them! And yet to vape, those flavours are completely different.

Well we are now cooking on gas! Got a joy e battery and dual coil cartos and life is peachy. Really enjoying trying all the new flavours, absolutley adore the caramel expresso - never thought Id like those kind of flavours but its really good for all day vaping. Have reduced the analogues by about 75% and I dont miss it. Havent really tried, it just happened.
So is there anything that can help reduce the alcohol and food intake???
Thanks for all your help, guys, and Jason has been the top guy - especially when Ive made some daft orders. Think I have the gist of it now!
Have converted maybe another 3 or 4 peeps in the last few days and suggested to them to come here for advice.

I got the boge 510 cartomiser and filling it using the condom method. Have to say the artic lemon is quite nice! Did a mix with regular tobacco and is ok, but vape not as reliable. Do think its me needing to practice!

Well new kit arrived and working perfectly! Thanks Jason! Am preferring the prefilled cartridges at the moment, but working on the cartomisers - just need some practice to get as consistant a vape as I get from the prefilled. Will take some time today (day off but already had 3 strays brought in so difficult to sit and play around for long) to get practising.

Well thank you, the ferret in the avatar is George he's one of our PR ferrets - gets taken to shows and events. He wandered into some chaps kitchen about 4 years ago and made himself at home with all his cats! Star ferret.
Now I have my new 510 and could it be a dud battery?? Its shown green constantly whilst trying to charge but wont vape at all, using standard ato and prefilled cartridge. Feeling really deflated. Bit disappointed at lack of any instruction so just put battery straight on charge as soon as I got it but doesnt seem to be charging, not any warmth in the charger or battery. Determined this must be me being thick but not sure now...
