chrisjw - well thats a bit odd! Maybe I was unlucky and got one that wasn't machined right? It's basically to big to screw any chimney bases I have on. Can get them half to one turn and then no further. Same with tank sections and one of my bellcaps. I do have one bell cap that fits on it fine though. (p.s I don't have zillions of KF parts, but have tried 3 diff chimney bases, and 2 diff tank sections, also 2 bellcaps - one of which fits).

Is the airflow still adjustable or no?? And wide open is it now a direct lung or still a MTL vape?? This I have and it keeps your kayfuns MTL but you can get more out of them, deeper juice channels and 2 adjustable air holes. The monster one linked has no adjustment and looks to be more for DTL but yet to try.. The airholes look to be excessive, it will be throttled by the intake on the deck and then the chimney anyhow. letsavit or anyone else that has this - just wondering if you had any issues with chimneys and tanks/bellcaps not fitting on this base? I was about to build a coil and have a go on my one (finally!) when I realised that none of the chimney bases I have will fit on it, and only one bellcap will fit. No tank sections that I have, or my other bellcap will go on If you have a chimney base that fits could you give me a FT linky? Just to be clear - not talking about the monster base, am on about the one linked above. Cheers

Thanks ceedee. Sadly I think I lucked out here - had it all in my basket, discount code applied (saving me about seven quid) logged in to paypal to complete the order and its jumped back up to £20 Decided I don't actually need those concentrates anyway - I'll wait till next time!! Aw damn! I suspect the Chefs killed the code at midnight. Never mind - I just thought I'd give it a try as it was early in the morning & they may have forgotten

I bought 10 x 50ml amber glass bottles from Amphora last week. Cost me £7.40 delivered (48p per bottle & postage was £3.00). I did try Ampulla first, but they wanted to charge me over £9 just for postage Boots wouldn't sell me glass amber bottles, only plastic amber bottles

Yay Am dead pleased they work well - mine haven't arrived yet!! I ordered the one with 2 airflow control screws first, then the monster one later on. Lanner is obviously far more cosmopolitan than my bit of Cornshire - I swear they only deliver our post when there's enough to make it worth while

Found this on my search of the T'internet, some interesting ones there. I am not sure on the GVC versions 1-4 as it bears no resemblance to the one I have been using for near on 6 mth. To me, this site is a good resource as it is basically a compilation of all clone recipes all over the interwebz ever - including ones from non English speaking forums that we might not otherwise come accross Re the GVC clones (in case anyones interested...). On my never ending custard quest I've mixed all of these at one point or another. Although they can make very nice custard to me they sadly taste nothing at all like Grants. The basic GVC clone of CAP VC, DLD and EM (with or without added French Van) is not GVCish in the slightest (imo), but lots of people really enjoy it. The V2 on there (with NY cheesecake in) is similar to kreed's Kustard so I know those ingredients make a lovely mix (although they use only 3% VC which seems very low. My own taste buds seem to prefer around 8% - 10% if it's CAP VC - My own personal feeling is that I can't call it a custard if I can't actually taste the custard - this I would therefore class as vanilla cheescake ). The taste profile isn't in the GVC ballpark at all though!! My favourite one is the V4 (with cake batter and malted milk in). Still diff in taste to GVC but it definitely has similarities. I found this recipe on a Fench forum originally and am still tweaking my version to how I want it, but it's my favourite one and really tasty. Out of interest (and for the sake of custardy science!!) what is the recipe you've been using car147 ? How does it compare ?

ceedee - are you using FV custard with good results? (This would be typical after I've just gone and bought 200mls of CAP VC in the group buy!!) I *think* ceedee has only bought some for the first time at VF spacey, so it's yet to be mixed, steeped and vaped. On the taste test it did appear nicely smooth and rounded though, whether 5% would be enough for my tastes despite the strength, not sure. I think when I get some, despite the vast quantity of Capella/TPA I've stashed . . . . then 8% is probably where I'll start. Ohh I see I too shall look forward to grabbing some when I can justify it to myself (yeh, yeh we know how that goes - it'll be in the basket before I know what's happened!!) Must be very strong stuff - I think then I'll try around 5% and see how it goes. Thanks
