Greigster ive just tried a new screen in my bb and it works. so would appear it is juce in the screen that has killed it rather than juice in the board/switches. im a bit dubious whether i want to chuck another 15 quid at this mod knowing its only going to die again, EDIT; the switches are all waterproof jobies which is handy as it seems there is no seal at all in the pos pin. but in all fairness there wasnt a lot of juice inside the mod, its just a shame the screens arent waterproof.
I doubt juice killed the screen, a too sharp fold in the cable will or juice could spoil the connection then a clean and replug should clear that, I could be wrong, but having lots of mods (not a bb) with these screens these are the only way they have gone wrong for me. And that has been rear for me, I dropped a 250 in the Thames in the summer and damaged the lipo and the charging circuit got damaged, but the screen is still in use. I have had a few pif DNAs that just got soaked in juice and misbehaved, cleaning cleared the issues and I piffed them forward. There was no juice on the conecction at all though the screen was deffinetly covered under the rubber gasket. I have a DNA vapour shark and the screen died in a similar fashion after it sat in a pool of juice. Luckily these screens are easily avaliable/replaced but Ive taken to leaving the mod standing upside down now so any rouge juice or condensation doesnt drip all over the screen.

Thanks, phtumshk , I thought I was missing out on some new gear there! My ignorance of web abbreviations is only slowly improving, for ages I thought that PITA was a reference to Greek bread... I think I have some Kanthal 30awg in the depths of my vaping draw, which is .255mm, so this would probably do it, though if the recoiling goes well I will probably get some thinner Stainless Steel than I currently have - I prefer it to Kanthal. oh yes, stainless would be much better for the battery life being fast ramping compared to kanthal.

jeez that looks a doddle. for some reason i thought the wires were soldered in to the contacts. I assumed this, too, phtumshk . the sort of thing they usually do. It does reveal the Naturevape thing to be a bit redundant as the housing is identical to a stock coil. I've seen atomisers that are actually designed to be rebuilt with more inconvenient systems - they even put those little slots in so you can get the outer case off! I am going to look through my wires tomorrow to see if I've got anything that will get me to 1.6 -1.8ohms at 2mm without making a coil too big for the chimney cover. iirc .3 wire gives about 1.5ohms at 7 wraps using the ickle blue screwdrivers. its what i used to put in the clr coils for the egripe many moons ago.

I've sent them another email so I'll see what they say and let you know. Such a shame as I love the chip im just unlucky with them. I hope they can fix it for you. I was only half joking about the dna screen, I have an SXK DNA60 Billet Box with a non working screen. It vapes fine but I am unable to change the settings. Cheers Neil Deja vu, mine is exactly the same. wish id bought the 70w china chip version now lol.

i was going to get a just fog mini as nature vape do a rebuildable head/pod thing for it. That would put me off instantly. Nature Vape. I left UKVapers because of my comments on Nature Vape. that bad eh? not wanting to open any old wounds i wont ask then lol. never dealt with them personally but on a serious note being able to rewick would be a plus.
