Sensationalism at its worst - The news industry should be ashamed of itself but unfortunately it makes good headlines

Hi geordie_vaper - I've got one I could part with but have no clue what to ask for it. It's in pretty good condition, small mark at battery cap and for some reason one of the top screws is very slightly discoloured Make me an offer if you want ?

I have been following this thread with interest and can honestly say I don't think we will follow suit with America on what can only be described as a ludicrous ban on e-cigarettes through the ban on flavouring
Its a shame that the USA import market on juice will suffer but there are loads of good home produced liquids out there that will still be available, not to mention the range of flavouring that will still available for us DIY'ers.
Why do I think the ban will not affect Britain ? Basically due to the vast income of tax dollars that the USA will lose through tobacco revenue considering the future bonds that a lot of states hold on tobacco taxes. The other countries mentioned in previous posts also rely heavily on tobacco funding. I'm not saying that the UK isn't going to miss the tax raised on tobacco but maybe not to the same extent.
Also, we have the reports from the NHS on the greater than 95% less harmful than cigarettes - a well published statistic that would be hard to ignore, especially since e-cigs are gradually being accepted by local health authorities as a reason to recommend them as a legitimate quitting aid
I like the range of flavours that are out there, not them all but definitely more than just tobacco and menthol, and i'm sure i ain't the only one. Would I have switched without that range of flavours ... maybe, but it would not have been as easy.
Perhaps they should concentrate on removing all those appetizing brightly coloured packages that are so so attractive to kids .... not e-liquids but sweets, available to all ages in most shops. Filled with sugar and definitely bad for your teeth and waistline.

There has been a lot of press recently about the environmental impact of discarded cigarette butts - something that us vapers no longer contribute too (small pause to feel smug ) - but recently I have noticed a marked increase in discarded empty e-liquid bottles lying about the streets - usually the cheaper brands and almost always 10ml bottles - but still a lot of little empty plastic bottles that could be recycled or at least put in the bin, being thrown away with no regard.
Is this something that other members are seeing or do I just notice them more when I'm out with the dog and looking to see what he's going to try and eat off the pavement (he will eat just about anything that appears even remotely edible).
Just curious.
