I have a PG intoleance. Sore neck and shoulders, into the ribs if I stretch.

2 days is all it took to see myself getting better when I paused. Now on 85% VG homemixed, and once I find myself a satisfying concentrate or 2 in VG I'll be PG free. Only downside was having to increase the flavours a bit, and a lot of tanks wouldn't wick nicely. Thin it with vodka.

I wouldn't rule out just yet that there was a problem with the VT you received.

My reason? The reply smells of sales speak. 'It's a feature of the way they work' just jumps out at me. Also would have been better if they'd actually sent you the report rather than interpreting it on your behalf.

25-40Watts just to test whether a coil is nickel or not? That would be suicide, admitting it is the bullet. No responsible manufacturer would release a mod that does that when there's the posibilty someone could just slap an 8 Watt tank on there.

I'm not saying they haven't messed up. What I'm saying is if it turns out they haven't when all this is freely visible who is going to get sued? We need PROOF or all it is is allegations.

The reply you posted is not engineering proof, just a 3rd hand practiced response.

The fact that they overspecced the battery is a worry that warrents investigation. Even though as vapers we only probably use ²/₃ of a cell's capacity, it should still be rectified. I doubt they will recall and refit all the ones that have been sold so far. More likely a small release on one of the many sites out there, just so they can say 'there, we admitted it' without too many potential customers actually reading - or even knowing about it.

We also need to clarify the battery management on this VT mod.
