Most freebie's (juice) that I came across were offered out by lovely young ladies walking about with boxes of goodies and offering them to passing people (rather than inside vendor tents) so I personally think it was a case of timing and luck of the draw. I didn't actually come across much (bar T-Juice sample and Decadent Vapour juice pick) that involved queuing? When I was lined up in the DV tent I noticed a lady on sticks queued behind me being ushered by staff to the quieter side to sit whilst she was personally served so I was impressed at DV staff thoughtfulness so there were many fine examples of consideration on the day.
Perhaps I'm just to f**king ugly and the ladies run a mile when they saw me coming, hense no freebies.
Yes , both T-Juice and DV had massive queues I must have been in those 2 queues for well over 2 hours ( a quarter of the day spent at 2 vendors )in total and I went to them later on when they weren't as busy, so god knows how long others were waiting when they were packed , having said that, when I visited them later on the people there were dead on their feet, I suspect 99% of the Vendors staff didn't have a break all day.I mentioned it earlier in my large post that Helix Mods , Touchwood Ecigs and Mrs Lord & Co were crammed in a corner of a relatively small tent and were all VERY busy , just to get to Mrs Lord & Co it took me 25 mins to sample their Juices, it was well worth the wait as I got a 50ml Seville marmalade for £15.But all 3 of them need more room for next year.
That's really good that DV did do that for that lady, and a vendor that does that is going to have a long term customer because of it, and when she tells others they will also go to them having heard good things about them.A case of GOOD karma.Other vendors should take some the same kind of philosophy , all of their staff were brilliant.

Sorry I kept missing you at the bar seniorphil every time I went I couldn't seem to see you, bad timing I guess , I hope you gave mine to someone else instead of carrying them home. I was hoping to see someone with an AAEC badge, but I didn't see another one all day.
perhaps one day I can get to a SE meet and meet some other SE members.

Does anyone know if ANY of the Golden Tickets were claimed , I thought I heard that at the time of the raffle that none had been claimed.
This is especially distressing when there were a lot of people that ( well me really , but a lot of other deserving people too ) would have been jumping up in the air like Donkey out of Shrek saying "Pick Me , Pick Me ".
I think that was the only real downside for me that there were some that were just charging round getting the free juices etc and just stuffing the rest of the goodie bag in their pocket/rucksack and not even checking.I suppose it's their loss, but it didn't give chances for others like ( me again , lol ) clairea to get freebies that they should have got and deserved.

I loved vapefest yesterday and had a fab time meeting everyone from here. but I have a little gripe. As a wheelchair user it wasn't very disabled friendly, when I arrived there was no direction on where to park, the disabled loo's had no loo roll in them had to get husband to go and get some from the mens, but that was corrected when i spoke to one of the organisers. Due to the vast number of people that came in all at once, a lot of the tents then became inaccessible to me. some of the tents were to small that i wouldn't have been able to move around had i got inside them, and if i had attempted to i would have hurt people by running them over with my chair. Some of the tents had metal poles in front of them hard to get over. Some of the tents had wooden steps in front of them. Impossible to get over. A lot of people don't even notice someone in a chair, so they just push round you, and barge in front of you and ignore you, a lot of that happened yesterday, A lot of vendors were to busy to notice someone in a chair. especially when they had a queue of 5 in front of you and couldn't see you. A few of the vendors came out when you couldn't get in to the tents or noticed you were there and bent over backwards to help you. I think about half didn't notice. but that was down to being so busy i think. some of the tents were put up on a kind of ridge and the rain then pooled in huge deep puddles in front of the ridge making it impossible for me to get through without damaging the motor on my chair. the venue fault not anyone elses. I got absolutely drenched when one of the tents decided to deposit the entire roof's water on me. I think someone tried to fix the roof and didn't see me there, I can laugh about it but wasn't very nice at the time and these things happen. Luckily i had the foresight to bring a change of clothes with me even though i wasn't camping, but the cushion on my chair is still drying out luckily i have a spare. It would be nice for future events, if wheelchair and disabled people with walking and standing issues, Could have say half an hour head start before the crowds hit, to give us a chance to see the vendors,(once everyone had finished setting up) I missed out on about half of them because i couldn't get in or couldn't get noticed. Basically i managed to see about half the vendors i wanted to see, because of the above, but it didn't stop me having a fantastic time. but it would be nice for future events if people like me could get a bit of a head start. Luckily the food stands were to high for me to get seen, were to expensive anyway and the food didn't look to good, I had my hubby with me who got me drinks from the bar, I would bring a picnic next time.
Sorry to hear that , I did say ( in another thread ) that disabled people should have been put at the front, but the same would have happened, so your idea of early access is perfect in my opinion.I spent one Christmas time pushing my mum around in a wheelchair and people are still dreadful in this country.Even though I was pushing my mum most of the time, people still didn't seem to see her in the chair , WTF is that about , then you get the condescending tw@'s that say something like "Is she ok" , does she need help" etc etc etc Disabled people get a rough time of things , so why not early access , it's not as though it would have made a difference to everyone else. You get a lot of people that are so rude even when you're able bodied too because they think it's their right to go straight to the front and grab the freebies and stuff everyone else.

I had a great day looking , buying , testing , and watching.
I left home at about 05:30 and travelled the 3 hour 15 min journey, and a little while more for stops. As it was on and off raining ( and I wasn't desperate to be in the first people in and just grab all the feebies ) I sat in my van in the dry and watched the world go by.Then as the queue started to move in I got ready and followed in.
Just as I was getting out of my van I recognised 3 people that were parked just behind me , it was DiscoDes and Perpetua and Neil from Valley Vapes , unfortunately they were the only AAEC members a saw all day.I kept going back to the bar area ( NO, I wasn't drinking , had to drive back the same day ) to find seniorphil for his generous offerings of batts and grommets, but couldn't find him , perhaps I'm not very good at recognising people.I also was looking for people with AAEC badges to but didn't see any but I was wearing mine all day.
I went round the entire site first and saw who and what were there, some vendors that I wanted to go back to ( some multiple times , lol ) and other I was curious about and one that I wanted to see their prices.Regarding the one with prices first , now , I wanted to get a mod and a couple of other things so went round asking about the prices of this mod and the one vendor in question ( I won't say the name but it's in north London next to a large stadium ! ) had , according to the guy I spoke to had gone up in price for the show.I asked him how much, he told me , I asked if that price was for the kit and he said no, just the mod, so when I got home I checked their website expecting the prices to have changed but they hadn't , so it would have been cheaper to order it over the internet , wtf is that about !!! A price hike of 16+ % , very naughty. So, after a couple of hours of just wandering about getting absorbed in one tent looking at the Helix mod and the beautiful wooden mods next to Helix ( I can't remember the name of the wooden mods , not remembering names will be a running theme through this post ) , I started to queue for things that I wanted to get.First off the freebies , I got one of the new juices from T-Juice , being the Gold 'n' Brown as the others I wasn't so interested in.Then off to Celtic Vapours to get a couple of juices there, I plumped for Peanut Butter and Celtic Tobacco , I got a small bag from iFancyon.com which had a Toot'in Juice Bubblegum liquid in it ( not my kind of juice but I will try it, it would be rude not to ).Last but not least I queued for AGES at the DV Mix your flavour and got three , these were Caramel Tobacco , Apple pie and Rich Pipe.At the same time I put my contact details down for them, I can't remember if it was for a competition or something else ( bad memory) got 3 bottles of DV Vapefest Original. Then I went off to other vendors , trying their exclusives and well known flavours , I tried Snake Oil, and still don't know if it was great or yuk , very different type of flavour and next to them were Digby's and I tried Oriental Plunder and Dr Jekyll both of which I really enjoyed.Others that I tried and enjoyed were Phoenix Vapours - Tobacco Medium , Halcyon Haze - Earth Brother , Spiritus Vapes - Fraho and Craft Vapes - Leprechaun.
Now I was off to buy some things , first was the Easy Coil , I was in a vendors tent when I saw this man T-Shirt and he was holding ( NO rude comments please ) so bought this there and then , then he decided ( even though I have seen review videos ) to give an impromptu demo , which very soon drew a small crowd , this was definitely one of my highlights of the day.I thanked him at the time but I want to thank him again , but I can't remember his name or site that I can contact him on, can anyone help ? ( I told you I was bad at remembering names ). I then got a cheapish Zenith V2 clone for dripping so I can have adjustable air flow and some fun in a few days time with all the flavours I've got. I didn't mention it earlier but I had gone to Mrs Lords to try some of their Juices and fell in love with the Seville Marmalade so I bought a 50ml glass bottle for only £15 an absolute bargain , I could have stood there all day with that juice quite happily.Going on from that , Mrs Lord & Co , Helix Mods and the lovely wooden mods ( which I still can't remember ) were all next to each other in a corner of a smallish tent and ALL 3 of them were jam packed all day, which is testament to the quality and popularity of their products and hopefully they will go again next year ( cross fingers for a 2015 Vapefest , I know it's early , but I had a really good time ) and get a lot more room which they really deserve. Last on the shopping list, but certainly not the least was ( in size and amount ) was a VTR, 2 batts, charger and 4 juices.I got these from Tan and the lovely girls from Vapor-Z .We have been sending messages to and fro for a while on different things and it was a pleasure to meet them. The juices I got were 3 bottles of the Pop-I Pipe Tobacco ( note to Tan remember September please , lol ) and a bottle of their Vapefest launch of Clyde , which was one of two of Vapefest lauches , Bonnie and Clyde.Again I could have stayed there all day and talked to them and their friends they had there, but they had work to do.This is the vendor where I met the maker of the Easy Coil ( Nope, still can't remember his name or link , lol ).Highlight number two.
The last highlight of the day for me was the back at the main DV tent and the mixing tutorial , it taught me so much, but was funny and entertaining at the same time. After I have tried and used the freebies and bought juices I will be mixing my own ( there will be posts from me in time about vendors on this subject as well as DV of course ).They showed us mixing a juice, then a member of the audience made one , THEN came the really funny bit ( for me anyway ).The man leading the tutorial asked the audience what flavours he should use , someone called out Diablo Poco, so that went in followed by Sarsaparilla and I think the last one was blackcurrant, the last two flavours were chosen the marketing guy from DV ( and , no I can't remember either of the guys names ) , after a quick shake and a clearo was filled, they invited people to try. There was a really big , tough looking guy at the back that said he would and I thought he's going to be fine , after he took just one toot of that he was coughing and spluttering for 5 mins, they then offered it to anyone else, so me, being me, had to try.Normally I double toot when I'm vaping and I did the same with this, after the first toot and half way through the second I thought "what was that guy coughing so hard for" , then the chilli hit like a sledgehammer at the back of my throat, WOW that was strong. The juice was then auctioned off for charity, I don't think that juice will be for using somehow , lol.At the end of the tutorial there was a Q & A and we all asked questions, I asked a few more afterwards too and both guys were so good at answering everything and couldn't really be any more helpful, a real big thumbs up.
I sat down and wasted nearly an hour and three quarters to see if I'd won anything on the raffle ( the nearest number to mine was over 400 away , LOL ) , which of course I didn't.Then grabbed a bite to eat and went home and eventually got indoors at 21:10 , so a really long day, but WELL worth it.
So looking back it was a fantastic day, even if I didn't meet up with people I wanted to and the Highlights being Mrs Lord & Co , DV and Vapor-Z.

The pparking isn't well sign posted , very easy to miss.
You need the first entrance to the show ground on the left as you go down the road. Don't make the same mistake I did and try and go in the third , second entrance is shut with big gates and you've gone to far.

A week is all you really need for these , but I suppose it depends on what flavours you have bought.
I'm now ordering 120ml for about 4-5 weeks vaping, but just one flavour at the moment which is Caramel Blend and at the moment it's my ADV, I really need to try some more. I'm ordering them at medium strength , which is 10% extra flavour, but this time I've ordered 60ml at 10% and 60ml at 20% extra to see if I can tell or if there is a difference.

Made me think of this. Had a good chuckle again.
That's brilliant, I hadn't seen it before.

Do they receive income from promoting all the stop smoking products, apart from e-digs of course?
Probably , as we all know big Pharma companies give large donations to political parties.

GP's get the vapers over e cig craze. 40% of GP's say they should only be available at over the counter pharmacies, 16% say they not be on the market at all, a similar number say vapers should only be able to buy them on prescription. E-cigs should be regulated like a medicine and be a pharmacy-only product quoted Dr James Quekett.. The devices will be classed as medicines in Britain from 2016 to make them more 'safe and effective, health regulators say. What a load of b.....ks!
Just like cigarettes are now !!!!
This is just dangerous, how are these Dr's justifying these ideas, I THOUGHT it was their JOB to improve the health of their patients , not talk BS about something they've read by some idiot like Mr Glantz.

Mine arrived today - took off the old one & put it on my Protank 2...FABULOUS !! Clivia ...get one me darlin
I'm glad you like it and it works well for you, I only suggested to you because it made such a difference to me and I thought I would pass it on.
One of the reasons for me trying it in the first place is because it's a single coil , and those coils can be used in Evod's , MPT2's and PT2's. To me, the V2 air controller looks better than the old one and the control ring stay in place unlike the V1.

A little off topic, but all the things that Mr Glantz has said and written had always reminded me of something but I couldn't think what is was , but today I remembered.
This little section is dedicated to Mr Glantz , the part of Dean Yeager is all us vapers in one voice -
"Dr Ray Stantz: Hey, Dean Yeager! Are you moving us to a better office on campus? Dean Yeager: No, you're being moved off campus. The Board of Regents has decided to terminate your grant. You are to vacate these premises immediately.
Dr Ray Stantz: What?
Dr. Peter Venkman: This is preposterous. I demand an explanation.
Dean Yeager: This university will no longer continue any funding for any of your group's activities.
Dr. Peter Venkman: But the kids love us!
Dean Yeager: Doctor... Venkman. The purpose of science is to serve mankind. You seem to regard science as some kind of dodge... or hustle. Your theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy, and your conclusions are highly questionable! You are a poor scientist, Dr. Venkman!
Dr. Peter Venkman: I see.
Dean Yeager: And you have no place in this department, or this university. "
I think it should be sent to him just to see what response he would give.
