Only 5 vendors supporting, thats a disgrace, wish I knew the rest that were not supporting, maybe I should ONLY part with my money to the 5 supporting vendors. Come on vendors, put yer name up that can't be @rsed................... you know who you are, you that get custom from YORKSHIRE folk, but can't be @rsed attending the fest.......... did'nt think so to my custom.

Was wondering how this would turn out After an 8 day steep, mixed at PG50/VG50 NIC 12MG - Flavour 20% Chefsvapour BLUE BANDIT, not sure why it's called BLUE BANDIT, tastes exactly like the crust round the edge of home made apple pie, (not actually apple pie), just the crust.

I agree, an absolute bargain. It was only yesterday I bought one of these, a solid well put together piece of kit, and performs exactly as it should. Can't see this been on here for long before it's snapped up. GLWS

So, after much deliberation regarding the Evolv rdna40 chip, and the teething problems that still need ironing out with it, (and am sure folk have rdna40's with no problem), I decided to go for the Vaporshark rdna30 30W is more than enough for me. Took a drive over to Vapeescape to pick one up (in black) with a black shark skin. Not fired it up yet, still to fully charge the battery. Looks like santa has come early.

I'm sure you will enjoy mixing your own juices as I do There's plenty of help/advice/info on here and on tinterweb. Obviously you'll need your basics, empty bottles, syringes, PG/VG and nic, and your concentrates. I get mine from here..... www.chefsvapour.co.uk/always next day delivery. although I do get my 30ml/50ml empty bottles elsewhere, I wont put a link up, as the delivery time is pretty crap. The mixing calc at the top this page is pretty good too. It's trial and error regarding your PG/VG mix untill you find what you prefer, I currently mix at 50/50 as I'm happy with that, but everyone is different, and mix at different levels...50/50 60/40 70/30 100/0 and so on. It's not rocket science mixing your own juice, infact it's quite fun, and like others (and me ) at times, you will mix and not get the exact flavour(s) you expected, but, it happens. Obviously, you have to consider the safety precautions regarding the nic, common sense really. As you know, there's plenty of vendors and suppliers out there for your needs, I'm happy with chefsvapour, everyone has their own choice. I'm sure others will be along giving advice, but go for it, have fun, and get self satisfaction making your own. I think the only hardest part of making your own juice, is waiting for it to steep without the (ooh! I'll just give it a little try ) Have fun.

We are told 7-10 days for new stock of the rDNA40. I have got a few rDNA30's in stock (not on the website though) which are £125 a piece. Sorry about the late reply. After much thought, I think I would be happy with the rDNA30. I know it's not the latest one, but thats not a problem for me, I doubt I'd use 40w anyway, and am sure 30w would be ample. I'll call the shop in the morning, and if one is in stock, I'll drive over and get one, it will get me out of crimbo shopping in Leeds Oh, and I'll need a couple of shark skins, oh! and a couple of new batteries, Ooh Ooh!! what else??? LOL

We are told 7-10 days for new stock of the rDNA40. I have got a few rDNA30's in stock (not on the website though) which are £125 a piece. I have to LOL It was only today I phoned and spoke to Vapeescape regarding their next incoming shipment of the rdna40. I was told that Jason was out so could'nt confirm, but, to call back next monday for an update. I understand that it is difficult for vendors to give dates for incoming shipments, more so when the supplier/supplying company drags their feet and lets the vendors down. I'm sure the Evolv chip has been sorted of teething problems. I would have settled for the dna30, but, would rather change the battery myself rather than send it off for a replacement fitted. I'll call VE again next monday for an update on the 40, I've driven from Leeds to VE before now for my needs, I'm sure I can to buy/collect a 40 Regards Kellywelly

Thanks for the replies I'm undecided at the moment, I do want/will get a box mod, but not sure what. I'm not going to buy a clone, or any other box mod just for the sake of having one. I did have my mind set on a Vaporshark rdna40, but, and am sure some will say (get one), I think they are over priced, and have (had) alot of problems with the Evolv chip, maybe the problem is sorted, but I'm not forking out 150 notes for summat that maybe faulty and may need returning. I dont need a massive amount of watts in a box mod, just something that is well put together and will last. I see they are now cloning the (Vicious Ant Variant Ti Slim 250W Box Mod Clone) for less than £150, looks good, but it maybe wired up like a tin of spaghetti and only last 6 months. I dont intend to spend more than £150, but, like everything else, I want my monies worth. Again, thanks for your replies, and I'll keep looking.

Hi peeps I'm looking for a good box mod (no clones thanks). Now, santa says he'll bring me a vapourshark rdna 40, (YES HE DID, santa is a vapour and knows his stuff), and from what I've read, I'm sure they are the mutz nutz. But, if i dont have to spend 150 notes on one, then I'll consider what's on offer. Like everything else, there is alot of box mods on the market, from super duper shiny to a million/zillion v/w. Not looking for big/small/shiny, or the latest mod, just something of good quality that will last. If i can be given opinions to a paticular box mod then (good ). That many out there at the moment. I'm all ears folks, what you got?/offers Just to add, and after reading quite afew peoples opinions regarding some faulty evolv DNA 40 chips, this is now putting me off getting the vaporshark rdna. Obviously, not (all) will be faulty, but reading about so many that are, I'm having second thoughts. I was even considering ordering one direct from Vaporshark, using the CYBERMONDAY 20% off everything offer..... But still, the shipping to the UK is still (UPS Worldwide Express $54.51) and totals out at $244.5 minus 20% thats around £125 Obviously ordering direct, means any possible faults will have to be returned direct, against £149 from a UK B and M, and at the moment, nobody has any stock. Mmmmm!!! thinkingsmileyI think I'll sit on this one.

Hi kellywelly, imho few (if any) food colourings will have been tested for safe for inhalation so why take the risk adding another ingredient that isn't really needed? Yes, good point, and I agree. But, this has now got me thinking, what about coloured concentrates we buy, what is put into the concentrates to give them their colour? I have bought some this week, amongst them, most are clear in colour, but one is pink, and another is yellow.

I think the key is if they are water soluble then they are safe (ish). Oil based is a no no Alcohol based is debatable. Do you really need to add colourings? Thanks for the replies. I dont really (need) to add colourings, just thought It'd be different I've bought coloured juice red/blue/green from vendors in the past, and wondered if it was something special or just food colouring.

I'm sure it's been asked a zillion times but, is there any food colourings NOT to use? that does/may contain this/that/the other? I know that citric acid can be a tank cracker, but I was more thinking on the lines of colourings with any harmful content to avoid, or are they all basically safe? Now that my second load of concentrates have arrived, I'm going to be busy over the weekend trying new mixes/flavours, but wanted to add some colour to my juice. Thanks
