Okay blakey, just in the middle of making another wick to see if it does it again, the other one just frayed to pieces. will take some pics of it to show what it look like in the housing, thanks Remember to wind the wire gently around the wick. Don't strangle the wick - just ensure that the wire touches the wicking material and that will alleviate some of the fraying. Lining it all up prior to winding (like Scott does in his video) actually helps me with that particular issue.

Without wanting to sound callous, I seriously believe that this presents a business opportunity. Not only would prebuilt wick/wire solutions sell well, but they would be a boon to those that needed them too. They could be sold in different resistances too. I wonder if Jason could give them away like he does with his drip tips...

Cool - make sure it comes with batteries though, and it might be an idea to buy a spare just in case any included battery is short lived.

As long as the multimeter can measure ohms (resistance) - and most do - you should be good to go. Maplin sell this model which would be suitable.

Just making sure I understand, so if I use Scott's method with the wick I have now, it will make the wick too thick? Or do I just need to make sure only one piece goes down the channels? If you're using the supplied wick, then you should be fine with just a single piece - just make it up like the first wick and you'll be good to go. Adding more wick gives more surface area for you to wind coils around - which in turn gives more vapour. The only downside is that you'll get through your juice quicker than you used to. Hope this helps.

Marmite in gravy or any other meat flavoured sauce. The Marmite contains a flavour enhancer (as does Star Anise I believe). Anchovies are also the same (although much more stinkier). Marmite tastes of Umami google it if you don't know what this is. I mis-typed that sentence. It should have read: Marmite is a kind of flavour enhancer, a type of Umami (but couldn't remember that last night - LOL) Thanks for the memory nudge. EDIT: Link added

Use Chrome (or Chromium) to order - this will automagically translate for you if you let it. Failing that, run the order page through something like www.microsofttranslator.com/ instead (it would appear that babel.altavista.com has now gone ???)

You can slim your juice usage (if you really want to) down by leaving just a crack of a gap in the juice controller. Seems to wick away at the same rate as an ACTv3 (2.5ml per day -ish) Tis a wonderful device however - very much like the Ody, just smaller in stature.

Where did you get them from peekay? I got them from here: www.mrfishjersey.com/ back in January. Just took a look at the site and they no longer seem to sell them. There's also a link from the page I originally linked to - not sure if that helps.

Most of the above bits are in my kit, along with a pair of Owner Braid Scissors for cutting wick cleanly.

I ordered mine over a week ago. I had issues when I initially ordered from Cam (when I first started vaping) and panicked because I thought a costly item wasn't arriving. I just had to be patient, and so I agree with Blakey's comment. However, I do also believe that a little update goes a long way, and again, as Blakey points out, Cam isn't the best at that sadly.

Thin a bit down with 5 - 10% vodka or de-ionised water. The important part is the de-ionised part of that sentence.
