Hi Guys.
im looking to buy a copper mech mod but can't decide on which I should buy, the 2 I've been looking at are the vanilla mod & 4nine mod, I know they both give a exceptionally low voltage drop. I like the 4nine for its simple lines, but heard that the switch can be crunchy + you have all battery options with this mod, as for the vanilla mod it's either 18350 or 18650 and I tend to use my mods in 18500 mode, but it seems to be a popular copper mod.

Albi61 I made my first dual coil with 0.5mm wire recently on a 3mm drill bit. 10 wraps of 0.5mm 3mm dia =1.0 Ohm, dual coil = 0.5 Ohm For a 1 Ohm dual coil 2.4mm dia you'd need a whopping 24/25 wraps. I'll give this a go & see where it takes me, never too old to learn, oh well! The trouble is when you have rip trippers quoting 24 gauge kanthal, our measurements for Kanthal is totally different to the Yanks. |

Hi Guys. after watching numerous video's on YouTube on builds for the Tobh Atty I noticed they were using 24g kanthal A1 wire for there coils, I decided to buy some Kanthal A1 Heat Resistance Wire - 0.5mm (500 Micron or 24 AWG) but not sure how many wraps I'd need around a 2.4mm micro screw driver for a 1ohm dual coil set up, can anyone give me an helping hand, please...
