Geeze! where do these people come from, next they will be telling us Vaping is bad for us, Breathing is bad for us so is crossing a road, what bothers me is these people actually get paid to do this sort of research, and all they ever do is tell us something most of us already know, still it's good to know that as a non drinker I'm more intellegent than someone like Richard Branson, I think these researchers must be alcoholics if thats all they can come up with, when I used to drink way back I always went into Idiot mode after a few! everyone told me that, I didn't need a researcher to confirm it,,

My Iclear 30's came with the swivel driptip, if you have the same it might be worth changing it for one with a bigger airhole or drilling the swivel one out, I drilled mine out with a 3.5 drill and it's improved the airflow 100%

Ok boys and girls! I actually found one on wicking that is working fine for me now, got got playing last night with both Orchids, I had some rank old juice and didn't mind wasting it, I tried tucking it under, having some down the juice channels, I think I did about eight different wicking ways, some were Ok ish, some the juice just peeded out, then I tried this guys wicking I've now been running both Orchid V6's with 50/50 juice for around ten hours and not a sign of any leaks, both Orchids gurgled a bit at first but after around ten toots it went, even when I laid one down the amount of leaking wasn't worth worrying about, now I don't know if it's my imagination but I don't seem to be using as much juice with this build, but I'm not sure if it's because I was loosing a lot from leaking with the other wicking methods, it's a bit of faffing to do but it's definatly working for me,

I forgot to mention! the wicking part is around 21 minutes in,,

Alis! all the stuff I've watched has said don't put the tails down the juice channels just tuch the wick under on the V6 as far as I can see the V6 is the same as the V4 apart from the raised airholes on the V6, I'm going to try the way you say, because last night it dumped a tank full of juice, apart from a little dribble when I fill it, it has been fine and fine all day today, so it was odd it just dumper the juice out, i still love the dam thing I just wish I could sort out the leak, I did everything they said so the only thing I can think of is it's the amount of wick I put in, some say not too much others say put lots in, I'm just going to play around untill I find the right way I guess,
Something puzzling me! everything I see on wicking says don't cover the airholes, Why??? if the airhole is left uncovered isn't that just an open channel for juice to escape? if the wick covers the airhole wouldn't the juice just sit in the wick and not come out the airholes, daft I know but it's had me puzzled as no-one explains why! I can only think it blocks off the airflow in some way,,

Thats nothing! you need to see Jude with her M&M's, all sorted into colours and there has to be the same amount in each pile, God help me if I nick one from a pile while she's not looking, mind you if she winds me up I have been know to drop a chocolate one in her Yellow pile, no she won't just take the brown one out! she starts all over again just in case there's not the same amount in each pile,, Ohh! I forgot she even eats them a certain colour at a time in the same order every time, can't remember the order but I know it has to be the Orange ones last,, Mow,,,

Perhaps a question we should ask when anyone ask about the best juice is what are you vaping it on? I have limited kit, but now know that a juice vaped on my Evode Glass will be totally different tasting on my Protank or Iclear, and now I have the Orchids it's even better, why tell someone to spend £10 on 10ml of premium juice when they are using a basic kit and it will taste crap? they may just as well buy a £1.00 juice, it's like drinking Tea from a paper cup, a plastic cup, then a proper cup,,

I voted no on the basis that most Chinesse stuff is just a clone of the original, but in a lot of cases the clone is as least as good, sometimes better and usually half the price, the problem is that makers like Kayfun, put a lot of money into developing stuff then send all the tooling to China where they use that same tooling to make clones and thats what allows us to buy the same clone goods at half the price,,

Ah! Subtle Blueberry with hint of Summer Meadow and Seashore on the inhale followed by a smooth taste of Blueberry tinged with a hint of Blackberry and Sweaty socks on the Exhale,, I just love reviews, ??? after buying loads of recommended juices and finding them rank, I realised it's all down to personal taste, I have a couple of expensive juices in my cupboard I've been waiting for months to improve and the £1.00 juice I bought just to try thinking they were crap outshines them on taste every time, I love my Blueberry and use two different vendors now and eack one has it's own taste that I like and none of them cost me more than £10 for 100ml, but having said that although I only have two Blueberry juices I have six different taste's because I also found out the taste depends on the set up I'm vaping it on, most of the are below par on my starter kit, but stick the same juice in a protank of Iclear and both will give a better flavour in each, I think if anyone asked me about a juice now I'd just say try it and see, I think I'd do the same with mods and atties, because in the end your only telling them what you like, and it dosn't mean they will, like you sort of say Peps some people will just glug a fine wine down while others will savour it, I guess I'm one of those that if I like it that'll do for me,,, Mow,,,,

Peps! I've been going up in stages from my Evod glasses, to Iclear 30's then Protanks and on each upgrade the best I've said was it's OK, but these Orhids are a whole different ball game and knock spots off anything I've tried so far including friends kit, for the first time I'm getting great flavour on the inhale and exhale, a more advanced vapor might say they are crap but as a basic vapor I can't fault them, it's hard when your on a budget as everyone has their own favorites, but I think I might be buying more Orchids as they bring out new ones, and it seems leaking dosn't just happen with Orchids, Mow,,, Greg your right! they only said it works OK with one coil, I don't think any actuall showed it, as I have plenty of spares I'll run it on one for a while and see how it goes, though I do take the point why have something that runs two coils and only use one, but I will be going over to two coils, Promise,

Peps and Greg! I think you may be right aboat the air pressure, it leaked a little for about ten toots but it's been fine since then, looks like my wicking may be ok after all, Greg! I watched a few reviews and they say you can run it with one coil with no problems, the reason I'm using one coil is I ordered pre-made 1.25ohm wires when I ordered the Orchids, thinking even with two I would get 1.25ohms, I didn't realise until you lot put me right, that with two coils you halve the Ohms and I would end up with 0.6 ish ohm coils, and my Istick won't fire below 1.0ohm, I fecked up and now have to order some 3.0ohm coils from FT, I'm liking what I'm getting with just the one 1.25 coils at least I have 98 back ups left, also I cured the problem of me overtightening the coil tails and cutting through them, the bits I cut off the tails, I added in the coil holes tightening the screws down then trimming them off, in effect I now have two wires in each hole spreading the load,,

Thanks Spaced! I did think along those lines but I don't do faffing very well, next fill I won't fill it as much and see what happens, if the leak I had is the worst I get I can live with it, the difference in the vape to my other kits is worth it,

Got my two Ochid V6's today, first dibble into RTA's, and have to say I love the things, great taste and more than enough cloud for me, can't say I like the chunky drip tip but I tried a few others and they just don't look right, but I need advice on coiling/wicking! I did manage it after tightening the wire a bit too tight and and cutting the legs off two coils but I got there, I found a couple of good vids on leak free wicks after reading they are a bit prone to leaks, they all say tuck the wick under leaving the airholes clear, but they are all for duel coils, here's the problem I'm using pre-made wires at 1.25ohms and only want to run one coil, when I wick it! do I do it the same method as twin coil or is it wicked differently for single coil, I shut off the air flow on the side without a coil, gave it a toot and even a lung hit at 8.5w and 1.25ohm coil I got a big head rush, but noticed juice leaking out the airhole, the odd thing is now I'm down to just over 3/4 of a tank it seems to have stopped, could it be I overfilled the tank?? as it's stopped, my first go at wicking something like this so I know my wicking could be suspect it just seems odd it's stopped now it's not so full of juice,, most of the stuff I've watched has been for the Billow which is pretty much the same as the Orchid, one thing I do know is the Orchid RTA is a whole different experiance to my Protanks and Iclears If I'd had known I could have saved myself a whole heap of cash, now they all live in my spares box, I have everyone here to thank for advising me to go the RTA route, I guess like everything else Vaping is a whole learning curve,,

Rip! I know I will have a go, I won't be able to resist it, you should have seen me take apart an I clear 30s coil after someone said it can't be done, it can but I wouldn't fancy trying to re-coil it, Peps! the trouble is at times there's just too much info on stuff, I end up confuzzled! with the V6 having the raised airways they are saying tuck the wick under and add a small bit of wick between the post, and it won't leak, luckily for me there's more stuff being added to Youtube about the Orchid V6, I just need a slow mo button so I can watch it and build at the same time,, Mow,,,

Cheers Droog! I'm not into subing, as long as it taste good I'm happy, and as a few have pointed out the juice consumption rockets, I'll stick with the single 1.25ohms for now, but I will give the duels ago when I get aroung to making my own coils,,
